Brighthope Kennels - Blue Picardy Spaniels The Blue Picardy has been part of Brighthope since 2003. We love the versatility of the breed.

Puppies from our kennel have competed in conformation, obedience, agility, hunting and hunt trials and as registered therapy dogs.

After 9 years, we decided it was time to bring back the Brighthope Picardy Picnic.
Yesterday was the most beautiful day spent with so many wonderful blues and their families.
Thank you to everyone that was able to join us, we can’t wait to do it again! 💙🐾

Special Delivery 💙🐾

The Brighthope family has a new addition. We are so excited to announce “Sequela Jim” arrived safely from France yesterday afternoon. He has done exceptionally well and is already fitting in perfectly.

It’s in these moments I’m reminded that everything happens for a reason, after the loss of two of my special boys this past year, I believe they helped me bring this sweet boy into our lives and knew he would instantly heal my heart. And that he did!

We can’t wait to be apart of this boys Canadian adventures! Welcome home handsome boy ❤️

We are bringing Picardy Picnics back!!
Picardy picnics are a fun way for Blue Picardy owners to connect or for those interested in the breed to meet them and learn more about them 🐾
We are tentatively planning one for September 6, 2026 if we have enough interest!
Please let me know if you would be interested in attending and once we have confirmed if it’s a go, I will post an update with more details!
