Well I got a surprise today!
I pulled the 3 budgie babies to band them and to my surprise there's 4! This is what a day old budgie looks like. Fingers crossed he makes it, the size difference is immense and there's a chance he may not. But to his advantage they do grow quickly and his crop has food in it so mom is feeding him. Biggest 3 banded and all returned to the parents. Sorry the picture quality is not great.

Baby news! Poppet & Petrie decided one baby in the last clutch was not enough. Three babies so far, it's unlikely all of these will successfully hatch. We will see in a few days how many they end up with. After this clutch I will remove the nest box to give momma a break.
