Sorry we havent posted! With everything going on, life has been CRAZY. We were finally taken off an evacuation order on Saturday 🙏

We've been catching up on buying our bulk feed, and returning to a semi-normal life around the farm. We have SO much to catch up on, especially our maternity barn build that we hope to have up by the winter (psst... if you know a good concrete finisher, please send me their info!).

We have our mama cow who could birth any day between now & end of September. Her calf will be the first ever born on our farm! It's so exciting. So many firsts have happened this year, and I couldn't be more thankful.

When Tom Davison's son-in-law invested in firefighting equipment for their orchard near Vernon, B.C., after a wildfire swept past in 2021, Davison wasn't sure the hoses would get much use.

My heart is breaking for my farming community. 😭🙏
Garnett Valley Farms is where we purchase all of our turkey poults, broiler chicks, and even quite a few of our laying hens. Mick & Marnie are the best people, and amazing farmers. Praying for them, and our friend at Star's Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary who is their neighbor in the valley.

We were able to grab a community members baby quail for him a few days ago and bring them to the farm, where we can ensure they get food and water. 🙏
