What is better on a rainy day (yeah 🌧) than to get together with friends and play Magic the Gathering?!

New players, new friendships and new skills learned.

Lots of laughs, including Anakin falling off a chair (no young adults were harmed during the games)! 😄

Gwendyllyn ran a D&D in the morning then played some MTG before disappearing to do work (boooooo). Elizabeth and Jamie cleaned, chatted and enjoyed the players antics :-)

Perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon! 🃏

Today, amongst the recent, sad, celebrity losses, we were so grateful to celebrate an upcoming and a belated birthday of two of our volunteers!!

It is such a gift to have so many friends stop in to celebrate with us!
Of course, we did a little karaoke, trivia, cake and dancing!
Such a fabulous afternoon with fabulous people!

Our amazing friend, Kade, popped in today to show us the newest video he made. It was just what we needed to break up the slow day.

The laughter was loud and clear! Kade, with help from his brother Landon, stitch clips of hilarious content from various cartoons (yeah SpongeBob) and kade himself in this hilarious and creative blend. 📽
We all agree that Kade is a absolute natural on camera! And, the brothers sure are talented!

Thank you for sharing your creation with us, Kade! So well done!

Jamie finished his beautiful Wolf diamond art today, which will soon be for sale in the cafe! Great gift for any wolf lover! 🐺

Three of our four volunteers in our Inclusive Volunteer Training Program. (Our 4th is Adam in the last 2 pics)
There is not enough space in this post to highlight the growth, dedication and courage from this team!
As they and we, as a team, learn and evolve, we are planning our 2027 Inclusive Pathways to Employment program. This program will allow more youth and adults with diverse-abilities to choose the skills and roles they want to accomplish while being supported every step of the way.

We are so grateful these individuals have put their trust in us and have chosen to dedicate their time to learning and supporting our whole team to grow as a registered charity!
