📌 Open to clients who have completed The Foundation & Obedience.

Kai was constantly pulling through the end of the leash and sitting down to protest. So, step one in building loose leash skills is teaching pressure & release!

🧠 He feels collar pressure and it is his responsibility to relieve it, that is goal one 👀 And he is catching on pretty quick!

😳 “Oh no, their hackles are up” 😳

📣We hear this all the time when owners notice their dogs or another dogs hackles. But it’s not always time to panic when you see hackles.

🔔Hackles indicate over-arousal, not aggression exclusively. While aggression can stem from over-arousal, hackles alone don’t tell the whole story.

🧩 Dog body language is like a puzzle, and hackles are just one piece of a bigger picture. The more pieces you read - tail, ears, eyes, tension - the clearer the picture becomes.

Before & After
Another happy ending for a rehabilitation foster!

We take in naughty but nice, biters and fighters to give them a new lease on life. To learn new ways of thinking, new social skills and to shift from defensive pessimism to optimistic curiosity in life.

☀️Sunny☀️ is now a pretty happy go lucky guy. He loves going out and about to meet and get treats from new people. He’s enjoying big hiking adventures with his big dog buddies. And he’s especially fond of puppies!

Sunny has been such a delight to work with.
We are so pleased that he has graduated from our program and is going on trial with a hopeful forever family.
