š Certified Feline Master Groomer
We are currently the only Certified Feline Master Groomer in Nova Scotia trained through the National Cat Groomers Institute - the gold standard of cat grooming worldwide.
This certification required:
- Proper felineāspecific education
- Nine intense exams (4 written, 5 practical)
- Travel out of province to Saskatchewan for private instruction under a CFMG
- Yearly renewal costs
- Continued education
Many groomers simply do not do what we do, and thatās okay. But we are highly educated, highly specialized, and the best choice for families seeking true felineāexclusive expertise.We are not ājust another groomer.ā

We come directly to your home.
A salon can groom 5ā7 cats a day.
We groom 3ā4 because of travel, setup, and teardown at each home.
Mobile grooming is a premium service ā and priced accordingly.

Some months, we spend $500+ just on gas driving across Nova Scotia. This is with our hybrid. Where we save a bit on gas.
This doesnāt include the additional vehicle maintenance required for mobile grooming:
- Oil changes every 2ā3 months
- Full safety checkups every 4 months
This ensures safe, reliable travel to every client.
ā Business Costs
To run a professional, organized business, we pay for:
- Commercial Auto Insurance (much higher than personal)
- Business Insurance
- Business Registration Costs
- Sharpening, Maintenance and Equipment Care
- Booking software
- Website hosting
- Payment hardware
- Monthly cardāprocessing fees
- Yearly CFMG membership and status renewal to keep our title
- Yearly Taxes
This is another $1100+ monthly.

We raise prices because math, reality, and sustainability demand it. Running a business takes a tremendous amount of knowledge, math, budgeting, and constant decisionāmaking. Without a strong business sense, staying afloat in this industry can be incredibly difficult.
These prices are all with a very low overhead. Imagine having to rent a place or build a place.. I am grateful to be able to provide these services at the current rates despite all our monthly fees.

Our mobile rates are standard for the province. In fact, other groomers often ask why our prices are so low, theyāre not.
Theyāre simply fair for our demographic, and we use your water and electricity to keep costs from being even higher.
Mobile grooming is a premium service. It will always cost more than a salon because it delivers more value, more convenience, and more individualized care.
