Two coyotes basking in the grass after the storm @ Westacres Park in Mississauga. They have no interest in people or barking dogs, so they seem healthy and relaxed. There is a posted warning sign. Please keep your distance. 🐕

Did you know not all Glucosamine is created equally?
Dogs can only process Glucosmaine HCL and not the Glucosamine SULFATE found in many human products. Make sure you check the label before you buy. Happy Saturday!

I didn’t know this as I haven’t fed wild birds in decades.

Another FYI

Feeding bread causes permanent damage to ducks and geese. They develop angel wing. They can not migrate or fly to avoid predators. PLEASE DO NOT FEED BREAD to ducks and geese. Cracked corn, corn, peas, mealworms, romaine lettuce, watermelon, grapes CUT into pieces, cantaloupe……are a few good options! Photo credit: Kendall Schenell

It’s heartbreaking to me that a social, loving cat like EMELIA isn’t wanted immediately.

Because she isn’t a kitten, she can be adopted as the only cat in a home but with proper introduction, could also be adopted into a multi-cat household. This is a commitment made by the adopter to make sure that integration goes well. This process shouldn’t be rushed, if the resident cat(s) aren’t receptive, it should be taken at a slower pace. If you’re paying attention to their cues, there’s zero reason it wouldn’t go well.
