🐕 What is a Decompression Walk for Reactive Dogs:
Each week a different location is chosen specifically for each group so your dog stays in their comfort zone. We create space and distance, reducing it only if and when the dogs choose. Throughout the walk I coach you on how to read your dog's body language and respond to it, so behaviour starts to shift on the spot.
Your dog builds confidence. You leave with skills you can use every single day.

Registration is required. Once you register through Eventbrite, you'll receive an intake form to complete. Your spot is confirmed once I receive your completed form. You'll then receive a confirmation email with all the next steps. 📋

Billy used to be reactive on walks.
His SOCIAL WALKS are part of his reset

We talk a lot about the behaviours we want from our dogs. 🐾
Some of the most valuable time we can give them is actually doing more of nothing.
No cues, no corrections, just being with your dog quietly. 🌿
When a dog gets to choose where to go, what to investigate, and when to move on without us constantly talking to them and directing their every move, that's not a lack of structure. That's building the kind of relationship no amount of shaping can build without this first. 🤍
This is what our 1:1 Social Walks look like for dogs that are particularly sensitive to triggers and their surroundings. Just your dog and Tater, or a small group when your dog is ready, long lines, and lots of time to sniff, forage , observe and decompress🐕 Increasing exposure at your dog’s pace.

If your dog could use more of this, the link is in my bio. 👆
