Notable Accomplishments for the Tealgrove Retrievers at the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toronto Hunt Tests.
Today, the Master Hunt Dogs participated, and we are pleased to announce that Brimacs SweetRide To Tealgrove SH WCX SD-S successfully passed her third Master Hunt Test. Following three litters and the pandemic, Shelby has faced challenges, but we are now regaining momentum. Shelby performed exceptionally well, demonstrating a steady sit at the flush, and truly deserved this pass. This marked Shelby's final test of the 2025 season. Two additional passes in 2026 will secure Shelby's Master Hunt Title and qualify her for the 2026 Canadian National Master Hunt Championships.
Not to be outdone, Tealgrove Spirit of Briggs Lake SH WCX, Briggs, also achieved her third Master Hunt Pass. We will complete Briggs' MH title in 2026. Shifting focus, Briggs will participate in two field trials in the coming weeks to conclude the 2025 season. Briggs secured a second-place finish last year and requires a couple of placements and a win for her QFTR title. Congratulations are in order for Barbara Jane Drewry and Briggs.
Lastly, The Bee Charmer of Tealgrove MH WCX, Idgie, completed her Master Hunt Title in August. Today, Idgie passed her first MH Test to qualify for the 2026 Canadian National Master Hunt Championships, requiring one more pass, and to count toward her Grand Master Hunt Title, requiring nine more passes. Idgie has one more Hunt Test to run and two field trials in the next few weeks, seeking that elusive win to complete her QFTR title and qualify for the National.
Added to River’s title yesterday, Tealgrove Retrievers had a stellar weekend.
