With flea and tick season here, I thought I would remind everyone again to explore natural essential oil based, chemical, free methods for your dog. And you for that matter!
Unless you are in an area which is so overrun with ticks that it warrants using vet, purchased flea and tick chewable tablets, I would opt for natural versions to prevent cancer, seizures, and so many terrible things that flea and tick topical and chews tablets often cause.
If I had to choose between topical and tablet form, I would always choose the tablet form, so the dog can throw it up if it is having a very bad reaction. But again I would avoid using either at all costs unless natural options were not working.
Many places sell all natural essential oils based repellents. So there are many ready to buy options.
I make my own.
It’s easy. You should too!!!
Besides the main ingredient which is a good quality Rose Geranium Oil.
I add lemongrass, peppermint and cedarwood oils to mine.
