I have been photographing .the.shihpoo gratefully for years now. But never have I had the opportunity to have his family of 3 generations of ladies come together for photos. This was so special 💕 to witness and beyond precious that everyone came with big smiles and fun stories to take back home.

It’s moments like these that give me the biggest purpose of being a photographer 🐶

It’s that epic session worthy of a magazine cover. So proud of this session and more importantly highlighting the bond between Morgan and Daisy 🌼

▪️Can you tell me the story of how you and your dog found each other?

“I got Daisy from an amazing family in Windsor. I had always known I wanted a dachshund, and the moment I saw her little baby face, I just knew she was my girl. It felt like an instant connection.”

▪️What has your dog taught you about love, life, or yourself?

“Daisy has definitely taught me to slow down. With her tiny legs, we don’t go very far, but she’s such a curious little soul — always stopping to sniff everything, people-watch, and take it all in. She’s reminded me to appreciate the small moments, be present, and find joy in the simple things.”

▪️What are your favourite everyday moments with your dog?

“Mornings are my favourite. I sing Daisy her little “good morning” song, and she gets so excited to start the day — breakfast, walks, all of it. And I can’t forget her signature side-eye… she’s so sassy, and it’s honestly priceless.”

This year I’ve been diving so much deeper into the feeling behind every session — not just how it looks, but how it lives.

Mood boards, textures, tones, little moments… I’ve been putting so much intention into creating something that actually reflects you and your pup — your energy, your connection, the way they fit into your life in the most personal way.

Because sessions with your dog aren’t just about “getting photos.” They’re about capturing your version of love — whether that’s slow and cozy, playful and chaotic, or quiet and deeply connected.

I’ve found so much joy in guiding this process more intentionally. Helping you shape a vision, while still leaving space for all the real, unscripted moments your dog brings (because let’s be honest… they always do 🐾).

The goal is always the same:
something that feels like you — not just something that looks good.

And honestly? I think that’s where the magic lives.

EXTENDED FAMILY SESSIONS 🐶 With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day around the corner, or even just as something meaningful for the grandparents, this is one of those things that only grows in value over time.

And truly… there’s nothing better than capturing a whole family exactly as they are, together 🤍

Waiting until it was 8th birthday to start posting our session together felt like the right time. Celebrating eight years with your pup is one of the biggest honours. I know living our daily lives we can get caught up in the every day schedule and routines, but I think it’s important that we always carve that time with our pups.

I think that’s why I love being a so much! I’m forcing my families to take a moment, come back to one another, and simply have some fun!

When’s the last time you brought your dog somewhere new and just ran around the beach together?

I had the best time hosting this very nostalgic session for Vanessa and Ketchup. Because we were there during the day when the sun was the highest and no cloud to be seen it made for the perfect canvas of bringing more grain and vintage undertones of nostalgia to the post production part.

I’m so beyond excited to share more and so proud of how this all turned out.

This video shows two things that I’m really excited about!

1. More ‘Moodboard Sessions’ that involve more planning and prep to complete a vision to highlight you in your pup.

2. Vanessa and session at the Bluffs that I completely spun in a vintage editing style that I really think you’re gonna love!

As a photographer, always exploring new avenues when approaching every session, executing every edit in the post product, and giving you an overall positive experience. I cannot wait to move forward in more warmer weather here in Canada to give you more sessions like this.

This is your gentle reminder that our time with our pups is precious and just book the session I promise you’re in good hands with someone who is experienced with pets and with Photography.
