As we start gearing up to accept dogs in early 2027, we need lots of supplies. If you are interested in helping, shopping our Amazon Wish List is a great way to do so :)

Meet Juniper, a Junction regular with a calm side. When Megan adopted Juniper from Maddie's Place, she expected an energetic northern dog; Juniper showed her a gentler daily rhythm.

She loves long morning walks and knows which local shops welcome her. The photo of her looking up at the Molly Wagz sign says it all. At Ren's Pets, she waits for treats alongside another dog. Megan also sees how thoughtfully Juniper gives other dogs room when they need it.

Those everyday observations are part of how Kindred and Coal thinks about a lasting match.

Does your dog have a favourite neighbourhood stop?

Meet Morla 🐾 & the work of a young local photographer who documented this moment in time 📸

Jaquie and Fabio welcomed Morla as their first dog. He loves people, squeaky toys and a trip to High Park. He also has a look for every occasion.

Swipe through three moments photographed by Eli: Morla's portrait with his tongue out, a moment with Jaquie and a view through the grass.

Eli is a young local photographer we're glad to collaborate with for *The Dogs of the West End* series.

Meet Morla, Jaquie and Fabio's first dog. He can relax beside his people, then race down the hallway when he sees a familiar face.

His energy fits their daily routine. Those everyday details matter to Kindred and Coal; they help us understand how a dog lives, settles and connects with people.

Morla's favourites include High Park, squeaky toys, breakfast, dinner and offering kisses. Bare toes beware.

Does your dog greet favourite people with a sprint, a cuddle or both?

Muldoon needed time to settle into Jim's home. Now he greets the morning with kisses, takes his share of the bed, and keeps a watchful eye on the west end's squirrels.

Meet the dog behind those soulful Brown eyes; photographer Eli helped us capture them. Follow for more Dogs of the West End.

Meet Andy, the West End's Little Ball of Sunshine! 🐾✨

Today, we’re featuring the incredibly sweet Andy, an 11-year-old Maltipoo whose tail-wagging superpower is making everyone smile for our "Dogs of the West End," series.

Andy’s story is a special one. He was originally Dante's family dog in their home country. When it was time to move to Canada, Dante couldn't bear to leave his best friend behind. They share a beautiful, unbreakable bond, and his name is even a tribute to Dante’s favourite childhood movie, Toy Story. 🤠

For Andy, life is all about making new friends on his morning and late afternoon walks. When he gets home, he greets his humans with his favorite toy (a goose!) and lots of happy tail wags. He’s the perfect way to start the day, checking in on Dante while he's getting ready, just to say hello.

This happy guy is proof that good boys get even better with age. Give Andy some love in the comments!

Welcome to the Dogs of the West End Series, where we introduce you to local dogs and their stories!

We met Mamba in the High Park Dog Trails, one of her favourite west end locations! When she first arrived from Mexico, the outside world felt a bit intimidating, and she needed gentle, positive encouragement just to venture outdoors. Through patience and non-forcing exposure, she has blossomed into a much more confident pup. While she can still be a little shy around new people, she's amazing with other dogs.

Mamba's ultimate superhero power is "The Kinship Call"; since she can never decide who to cuddle with, whenever mom and dad are in separate rooms, she acts as the ultimate Border Collie that she is and "rounds them up" so the whole crew has to hang out together. 🥹 🐾✨
