We've been sitting under a stalled airmass for the last week or so & it's expected to continue. Clear with temperatures reaching mid twenties is better than a stalled rain event!

Garbage & litter at G Ross Lord Park has become overwhelming & discouraging.

Dumped junk within sight of garbage cans (the dump shown below is now into its 2nd week), party firepits surrounded by discarded fast food packaging, empty liquor, beer, w**d pkgs, & used condoms - all too common here. And there's even a Parks Dept work-yard in this park!

A current review of Toronto Parks work-crews points to management & employee failure. The auditor general's report said "On average, crews reported spending just over four hours of a standard eight-hour shift performing park maintenance on location, but GPS information indicated the average was just two hours and 36 minutes." The result is in our faces and makes a crappy park experience.
