We're proud to support The Compass Food Bank & Outreach Centre by donating pet food for the pets of individuals and families they serve.

When people think of food banks, they often think about helping people put food on the table. What many don't realize is that countless individuals facing financial hardship also have beloved pets who depend on them every day.

For many, a dog isn't "just a pet." They're a best friend, a source of comfort, emotional support, and a family member.

By helping provide pet food through food banks like The Compass Food Bank, we're helping keep pets fed, families together, and reducing the likelihood that a pet may be surrendered simply because its owner is struggling.

A huge thank you to for everything they do. Together, we can help ensure that no one has to choose between feeding themselves and feeding a beloved companion.

Chewy was the sweetest boy, always looking for cuddles, attention, and someone to spend time with. He had such a gentle, loving personality and could turn even the quietest moments into something special just with his snuggles. We’re so happy he’s found his forever home 🏠 🐶

We’re so excited to introduce our newest foster, Chewy, in partnership with . At 5 years old, Chewy is already showing us what a gentle and loving companion he is. He absolutely adores attention, and if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, he’s your guy.

It’s been a few hours and he’s already discovered the joys of cozy snuggles and relaxing TV time. It’s clear he just wants to be close and feel safe.

We’re so excited to share a new partnership with our friends at FURR in the Beaches! Thanks to their incredible generosity, we’ve received a huge donation of dog food that will go directly to families and rescue partners who need it most.

Happy Birthday, Hazel Baby Mork! 14 yrs ago, a tiny timid cockapoo came into our lives… and quietly changed everything.❤️

Before the rescue, before the logo, before the mission there was Hazel.

She was the first dog in our home, the one who taught our family just how deep the love for a dog can be. The kind of love that grows so big it turns into something more… a desire to help other animals find the same love and safety.

Our sweet little princess, the ultimate Daddy’s girl, and a fluffy bundle of love who believes belly rubs should never end. She proudly rocks her signature ponytail, carries herself with quiet confidence, and has just enough independence to remind us she’s always been the queen of the house. 👑

And of course… her glasses. 👓
Hazel has many pairs, and somehow each one brings out a different side of her personality.

Because of Hazel, our family fell in love with dogs in a way we never expected.
And because of Hazel, we opened our hearts to rescue.

❤️Because sometimes all it takes is one little dog… to inspire a lifetime of saving others.🐾

🐾💛 We recently visited for a gentle, anaesthesia-free teeth cleaning for our 14-year-old sweetheart Hazel and our 5-year-old foster pup Pepper. For senior dogs especially, avoiding anaesthesia can make a huge difference, and the experience couldn’t have been more positive.

Mya, the owner, is truly incredible. She takes the time to let each dog feel comfortable first — lots of pets, calm reassurance, and patience before starting the cleaning. 🦷🐶

The cleaning took place inside , and the store itself was spotless — very clean, tidy, and well organized, which we really appreciated.

Hazel and Pepper left with brighter smiles and wagging tails! If you’re looking for a gentle dental option for your pup — especially seniors — we definitely recommend checking out .
