šŸ¾ Happy National Dog Day! šŸ¾

Today is a little reminder of why Iā€™m so incredibly grateful to do what I do. ā¤ļø

Working with animals isnā€™t just a job to me, itā€™s something I genuinely love and feel so lucky to call my career. Every walk, every belly rub, every goofy face at the door, every cuddle, and even the occasional ā€œwhy did you eat that?!ā€ moment reminds me just how special these animals are.

Getting to care for your pets, earn their trust, and become a little part of their lives is something I never take for granted. Thereā€™s something so rewarding about knowing that I get to make their days a little happier while giving their families peace of mind that their babies are safe, loved, and cared for.

To all of the dogs Iā€™ve had the privilege of caring for, past and present: thank you for the muddy paws, wagging tails, sloppy kisses, endless laughs, and unconditional love. You make coming to work pretty damn easy. šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

And to all of my amazing clients who trust me with their furry family membersā€¦thank you. Supporting my small business and trusting me with the animals you love most means more to me than you know.

So happy for this little guy. He recently just got his cast off!
I started walking Mylo a couple weeks ago and when I say ā€œwalkingā€ Iā€™m using that very lightly. Mylo has an injured leg so I walk him in a stroller to the park and let him sniff around but we keep his activity minimized. He really is such an angel and Iā€™m so happy to be able to help care for him during his recovery process ā¤ļø

2 weeks of walking Jessie!

Oh Jessie girl. She truly is a special lady. I loved getting to know her more and all her quirks and the laughs that came with it. Her family may have been on vacation but Jessie and I made sure to have a ton of fun! Our favourite way to end off our walks was cooling off in the pool. When Jessie wasnā€™t rolling around in the grass or throwing epic pool parties, she was getting lots of love (and begging me for treatsšŸ˜‚)

Got to spend the weekend with Kensi while his family was away. We went on adventures, met lots of new friends and made sure to have a ton of fun! šŸ¤© When Kensi wasnā€™t digging holes, catching balls or taking my socksšŸ˜‚, he was giving me lots of cuddles. We had the best time!

It was a pleasure to take care of Hefner while his family was away for a couple weeks. Heā€™s a 15 and a half year old whippet! Because of his age and his body, it restricted us on going on any fun adventures but he was more than happy to get cuddles and fall asleep in bed with me. All he wanted was companionship and someone to take naps withšŸ«¶šŸ¼
We liked to spend time in the garden and he kept me company while I watered all the plants. Heā€™s a very sweet boy and it made me happy when he would get little spurts of energyšŸ„°
