Well, bad luck is continuing, but I'm here trying to look at the positives.

Good news is, I know my bucks are not shooting blanks, at least some of my does can produce and have nice sized litters, and my 5 Sandi kits are doing great.

The bad news is Sam lost all of her kits due to bad mothering skills, and Pumpkin kindled 7 lovely kits today, made a lovely nest, then laid them all at the front of the box, completely exposed 😭

So, we continue with just Sandi's 5 kits who are 7 weeks old now and getting weaned. I posed them up for a first look a week and a half ago and where my rabbitry is at, I'm happy with these results.

Onwards and upwards 😊

January wasn't a very successful month for kits being born, with only one doe out of four, actually kindling 😕.

However, Sandi's 5 kits are doing well, and Sam kindled 10 kits last night! Two didn't make it, however, for a first timer, she did a brilliant job! 👏

All missed does have been rebred

Let's hope for a warmer, slightly less snowy February, and more babies on the ground 🤞☺️🧡

Bright eyes, bushy tailed babies, thriving in this cold snap!

These kits are 4 weeks old, and have reached a time when their transition to solids can be a bit challenging for their gut. But they're all doing well and growing steadily ☺️

Unfortunately, two does that were due are now well past their kindling dates. While that's unfortunate, I have two more does who should kindle at the end of the month.

Happy New Year!

I know I've been super quiet on here. Don't worry, I still have my Creme d'Argents, and have actually added some new cute little faces as well. With new plans in place, goals to achieve and bunnies to love, I'm ready to post again.
