📣 𝒥𝓊𝓁𝒾𝓊𝓈 𝟦𝟪𝟨 𝒮𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉 𝐸𝓁𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝑀𝑜𝓋𝒾𝓃𝑔! 📣

Kettle Creek Friesians is pleased to announce that our Approved Friesian Stallion, Julius 486 Sport Elite, will soon be moving from his present home at the Wim Cazemier Equine Centre in Spencerville, Indiana to The Friesian Connection in Dorr, Michigan. The Vanderkooy Family is delighted to again partner with Amy Kroll and Janice VerMerris of The Friesian Connection, where Julius 486 began his breeding career in 2015.

Our family would like to extend our warmest gratitude to Wim & Marjan Cazemier for the excellent and professional care they provided to Julius these past 5 years. We are saddened to see their valuable contribution to the Friesian Horse here in North America come to an end, but we understand that family comes first.💗 We wish them the very best as they continue their lives and careers back in their home country of The Netherlands.

Beginning in March 2025, all breeding requests for Julius 486 Sport Elite can be directed to:

So proud of this sweet, sweet filly! 💗
Two-year-old Violet KCF (Jehannes 484) was 🔥🔥 at the Ontario keuring last week!
She earned herself a 🥇1st Premie🥇 and became Youth Champion!! 🏆

Violet has been charming and delighting us ever since she was a friendly & curious foal. Her mother is the equally sweet Crown mare Thirza fan Dulve (Stendert 447).

Condolences to the Leyendekker family with the passing of their 26 year old Approved stallion Sibald 380. 🖤🙏

In 2006, we made our very first match between our new Star broodmare Fenna JB and Sibald 380, which resulted in what turned out to be our very first home-bred Star mare, Yve KCF (SibaldxFetse) 🖤🧡

It is with our deepest condolences to the Leyendekker family that we announce the passing due to natural causes of Sibald 380 (Sierk 326 x Leffert 306).

Sibald 380 was born in 1997 in Delfgauw, NL to the van Dijk family. He was purchased by the Leyendekkers and brought to the US in 2003

Sibald 380 has over 650 offspring with 24% making ster. Sibald has also produced 13 Sport Predicates or Elite Sport Predicates.

Thank you to the Leyendeker family for sharing Sibald 380 with the FHANA community for 20 years.
