We are a small rescue here in St Thomas that focuses on crisis care and reunification to help bridge the gap between needing temporary help with pet care & surrendering your loved pet to a shelter forever. We maintain a homey atmosphere where all life is nurtured. We are here to stop generational pet trauma and help ease the local shelters who have to see loved pets surrendered daily. Our mission is to ensure pet owners of certain demographics have the support they need to maintain their mental health, physical wellbeing and social health.

We talk through an owners options, discuss future care, and then set up a plan. If crisis care is an option, the owner will fill out an application for crisis care. If we are able to assist, we will.
We provide help finding appropriate charities to help find secure places where owners can maintain their ownership and take care of an owners animals when there is no other option. We see the most deticated of pet owners, doing everything they can for their pet. Sometimes surrender is the best option and thats okay.

We are thankful to say, to date, only 2 reunification plans have not worked out, resulting in two cats going to another shelter within the city. We have only had 1 intake due to inability to form a crisis care plan. We have seen an extensive impact on the community and will continue to do crisis care. Well kittens owner is all healed up from their knee replacement surgery and has been transitioned into their new home beautifully.
Kitten was adopted by one of the community members who helped capture him and his sister this spring.
Were so thankful to be apart of such a loving community commited to the care of even the smallest voiceless members 💕

We are experienced in caring for all sorts of animals from the most delicate- parrots, chameleons, fish. To the most common pets - dogs under 50lbs, cats, rabbits, ext.
If youre in need of pet care during surgery, homelessness, or another crisis reach out and we can help.

Our friends Rocky and Smokey went home earlier this evening.
Were so thankful to be able to reunite pets and owners again and again while always learning new, critical, information to pass on.

We met our clients during a tough and busy time for the both of us. Showing their true resilience and ambition they reached every goal they set for themselves, maintained their pets care, and have gotten themselves to a place where they can welcome their babies back into their new home.. were so proud of them.

St. Thomas as a whole should be proud of the youth within our community and the resilience they're showing during these trying times.

Today were welcomed two little otos here
Often we get duos of fish who belong in groups.
Whenever this happens we establish them in a quarantine or medicated tank, and then paired with the most appropriate group of fish.
Maintaining natural behaviors and diets for the fish here is important to us. Do you have a group of otos that could use a duo? Let us know.

August 9th is my birthday.
All I want? Another year of rescue.
We cant keep running at full capacity without a large amount of supplies and funds... not a single rescue is free of charge.

Physical Donations to the rescue would be greatly appreciated.
Our emzyne cleaner is most important- ecoclean. Papertowels, cleaning supplies and cat litter are always needed.
Garbage bags, detergents, puppy pads, ext are used and replaced daily. Maintaining a rescue environment within a household is not a simple task. To me rescue is worth every bad day & dollar. Reuniting animals with owners and helping distribute homeless animals to low income families is a dream come true. For my birthday you can like, share, comment or donate to help spread the word.

We are very excited to announce that Rocky and Smokeys owners have been accepted for an apartment and will be able to reunite with their owners early August.
I am so incredibly proud of these owners and all the hard work they've put into securing a safe place for themselves and their cats.
With that being said, I will be open to crisis care for companion animals once again mid August.

An update on P**f, the first kitten we caught from the litter!
P**f now spends her downtime (all the time) side by side with her bffs 💞 ✨️ watching her very own fish tank and cuddling her bestie, Ali !

🐈 We are so proud of how well this little man is doing in our care.
Little man is waiting for his future family to heal from a knee replacement before headed home. Within this time we're teaching him house rules and reminding him that hes safe indoors, using smokey as his main mentor.

🏠 Donations of cat food, litter, emyzne cleaners, or monetary donations for the rescue are deeply appreciated. We value any in person or amazon donations as well.

👩‍👦 We are a family raising funds through The Bubble Company products in order to run the rescue. We rely on the kindness of others to continue helping local community members and pets in need. This is the first year we've been able to take in feral kittens and distribute them to well deserved homes. This journey has been wonderful but not without its complications. Were actively caring for, trapping, and managing more than we usually do!
