Day out on the town 🌇

We had to go grocery shopping (depressing bye bye cheque) so we loaded up into aunties car and away we went!! Noodle HATES his aunties back seat 😂 in my car he has a thick sleeping bag to lay on so the seat is super comfy cozy. Aunties car has hard not sat in often back seats so its not cozy enough for this posh boy hence his displeased face😂
(note how we started with nice hair)

We first got coffee for auntie & I before we went to our first real stop. The thrift store for auntie to get new pants 👖 Noodle took his job very seriously and decided he needed to lay with his butt in the change room for auntie & his top half out to watch me😂 once back in the car Noodle prodeeded to itch his million mosquito bites (we spray him with dog bug spray but these mosquito are WILD this year from all the rain and dont care) and ruined his hair. Sooo we redid his hair in the car real fast before going to Hellmart.

I legit forget everytime im in a store on a mission to take photos & videos 😬 buuuut auntie Aly (.hellhound.zorzo) came in clutch and took some really good videos of us working 😭🩵

*first off where i live service dogs must be leashed unless it interferes with an active task. Meaning they arent allowed off leash 100% of the time. Second: i usually have a hands free leash on Dexodus but in aunties car i only had a traffic leash🥹 im a very spaced out person when out in public so once i dropped his leash to pick something up i continuously forgot to grab it. Dexodus usually hands me his leash however this day he was having THE time of his life showing off thus didnt give me his leash as often as he normally will if i forget to grab it. Buuuut Dexodus has really good offleash skills so it wasnt an issue*

Dexodus was having the literal time of his life showing off his off leash skills. I left the sound in so u guys can hear how little i actually speak to him 😬 i could have SWORN to u that i "command" him more but i dont 😂 we use a lot of hand signals, grunts and clicking. I forgot his hair clips so his hair was in his eyes hence me at the end of the video trying to push it out of his face and him going *mom stopppp*.

Pt 2: UncleBrother bullying a Noodle boy, Noodle ✨concerned✨ about someone sneezing, dinner theatre & funny sleeps

While we were at Nanas house UncleBrother decided since Noodle bullies him in the morning to wake up, it was his turn to bully a Noodle by kicking a pillow into him 😂 hes so tolerant. The best boy.

After that i took Noodle to his first ever live Dinner Theatre! He absolutely C R U S H E D it!!! Ive only been to 1 when i was 16 and i forgot it was buffet style so i was nervous about maneuvering Noodle around but he did FANTASTIC!! Everyone at the theatre was extremely respectful of him, no one touched without asking first (thats huuuuuge bc every SD handler knows drive by pets are a common occurrence) and Noodle even walked away with his Papa (which hes never done on duty) so i could finish grabbing my food without having to move him around. He waited so patiently for me to come back to him 🩵 Someone sneezed super loud when i came back and Noodle was ✨concerned✨. I had to tell him it was just a funny sneeze from a hooman 😂 once we finished eating i took him out to go potty and play a bit before he was expected to lay down for a couple hours. He did sooooooo good!! Once his dino hood was on he passed out almost immediately 🤭 the manager of the dinner theatre also commented on how amazing he was!! Start to finish the dinner & show was 4.5-5 hours long and he was on the ball the whole time! He amazes me even after 2.5 months of off time then light duty working this was his first long outing and crushed it like he hadnt missed a single day!

Once back at Nanas house he passed out 😂 he was sooooo sleepy. Next morning we went to church and this man slept through the loud booming music like nothin (perks of bringing him to church since he was 4 months old lol). Overall this man absolutely crushed his first long stent of working since being unwell. Im so so proud of him 😭🩵

Part 1: Bridesmaid dress try on, friends bday, health update & Nanas house!!

We. Have. Been. So. Busy.

Dexodus here! Hi furiends!! First a health update: Mama and i have been doing so many things now that i am medically cleared to work fulltime again!!! I had to go to the dogtor because my bloodwork came back funky when i caught a severe case of Kennel Cough mixed with aspiration pneumonia 😭 i was VERY sick. I needed 3 rounds of antibiotics and had to see an internal medicine dogtor. I liked the specialist he was a nice guy!! However i did NOT appreciate him checking my junk/prostate 💀 he discovered i have a genetic condition that will NOT affect my health or working career so thats amazing!! Mama was very worried about me but the dogtor assured mama that i can live a full and happy life with minimal restrictions and am cleared for full mobility again!! The dogtor said my hips also look amazing and mama did super good at my conditioning for not only the dogtor but my hips and elbows as well!

Mama had to try on wedding dressed for one of my aunties wedding next year. Mama looked beautiful incase u couldnt tell by how i look at her 😍 i was the bestest boy and everyone in the wedding party loved me.

We also went to my uncles birthday party. I was so happy to see Ducky again!! We played so nice while mama held my other aunties fussy baby. She was so sleepy but didnt want to sleep. Mama took her and she fussed for a little but mama was able to soothe her and she fell asleep in my mamas arms (hey thats my spot!) mama hummed her favourite song from Pirates called Davy Jones😂 worked like a charm.

After that we went to Nanas house and slept on UncleBrother!! I love my UncleBrother hes so nice to snuggle🥰 in Pt.2 Mama will post where we went 🤫

Its also been raining for 12 days. Im tired of the rain i wanna go for walkies 😠

I was the bestest boy and it was the busiest we've been since ive been sick. I worked for 5 days straight 🤯 i slept lots when we came home 🏠

Hes been a busy busy Noodle boy!!

We had his specialist appt this month to make sure hes all good for full duty and this man was cleared!! Hes a touch anemic so we've been encouraged to up his iron intake so this week ill be blending dandelions, broccoli and some oranges (Vit C helps with iron absorption) to help boost him up. All we need to do is check his bloods in 3 months to make sure everything is coming back to normal levels 🩵 SO THANKFUL because he had me spooked for a while there.

This month we've done a lot of library trips 😆 he made friends with the librarian and now when we go in hes the wiggliest boy waiting to say hello to his fans 😂

We also had a specialist appt for me and it went super well! We're FINALLY after 8 years of asking other doctors getting MCAS testing, barium swallow study, nerve study and raynauds testing!! Im so friggen grateful for this new doctor. Hes incredibly receptive and ACTUALLY cares.

Next week ill be taking Noodle boy to his first dinner theatre as well! Im excited to see how he handles it after being on light duty for almost 5 months. Hes gunna be HYPED to finally work for "real" 😂 he hates being babied/on light duty

Happy Gotcha Day Dexodus Aysah 😭🩵

This boy came at the worst yet best time of my life. Im so grateful for him and so happy hes been such a good mans 😭🩵 heres to many more gotcha days to come Noodle boys

Noodle came with to the dentist 🦷

This man is literally the best. He doesnt like sitting outside the room for xrays he will but its not his favourite. So ive taught him to lay still under the lead jacket (they sanitize the jacket in between patients no worries) the dental assistants loved it and thought it was the cutest thing ever 😂 he laid perfectly still like a gentleman while they xrayed my teeth. 🦷 turns out i need one of my fillings redone bc its irritating my gum line 😭 so we go back at the end of the month to have it fixed up.

We then went to see his auntie Jenn at our fav little coffee shop in our hometown. The coffee and cookie were to D I E for!! Noodle was HYPED to see his auntie Jenn. He was more excited to see her than to meet her little baby 😂 she got lots of noodle snuggles and i got baby snuggles so we all had a win win 😂

Next week Noodle goes for hopefully his last recheck at the vet to make absolutely sure his bloods are holding but based on his gum colour, his behaviour and his energy levels im really hopeful hes back to normal 🩵 Hes been SUPER excited to work again which is amazing bc when he was sick or not feeling 100% he showed little interest in going to work. So fingers crossed! 🤞🏼

Noodle man has been loving/hating taking time off to recover from his mystery illness.

Hes finally finished antibiotics and now its just a waiting game to see what his bloods will look like next month. The vet we seen here close to hole believes Dexodus was misdiagnosed and thus given the wrong meds which worsened his condition. He was given 10 days of antibiotics and now that hes done them we wait for his body to "reset" before we take more bloods. Until then its just watch and wait.

We've been doing a lot of puzzle toys, brain games and just started walking outside for longer than 20 minutes again. Hes loving the adventure walks 🥳

Praying this boy heals to 100% so we can work him fully again. Currently hes on part time light duty and hes not impressed 🥲😂

Happy 5th birthday to my sick Noodle boy 🥳🎂

He managed to catch kennel cough 😷 how we dont know but that just happens to be our luck. So hes on crate rest for 2 weeks or until he stops coughing.

2026 RV show ⛺️

Took Dexodus to the RV show this weekend! He was a rockstar despite me completing spacing out and forgetting his leash forcing me to use his seatbelt as a leash 😂

He went into sooooooooo many campers with me. He did NOT like when i went up onto the balcony in one trailer however 😆 he was convinced i would fall from the sky 🌌 first pic is how DISPLEASED he was with me when i finally came down from said balcony😂

This man never ceases to amaze me with how versatile he is in different situations. He went from working in our teeny tiny village 2x a week with little to no crowds and just JUMPED head first into going to the mall yesterday, then a super busy RV show AND church today. Hes such a blessing to me 🥹😭🩵 he got to see all his church family today which he was hyped about! Said hello to all the kiddos and adults who know him, slept through the loud music & preaching, then went to the RV show with hundreds of campers and camping supplies with hundreds of people walking in and out of campers, kids in wagons & strollers, fake dogs/bears/people, mascots, fake fires, loud music and popcorn all over the floors. By the time we got to the exit he was soooo ready to go home and go to bed 😂 the last photo is him passed the heck out.

Im forever grateful for this man, his drive, willingness to please, eagerness to work and versatility 🩵

Took Noodle on an adventure today! We went back to the infamous West Edmonton Mall.

First he saw an unexpected visitor! He managed to find his auntie Shay () by accident 😂 i didnt know beforehand she was going to the mall and he was air scenting then all the sudden he LOCKED onto Shay's momma and when auntie Shay came around the corner? He lost his little mind 😂 he was SO EXCITED. How he smelled JUST her scent despite thousands of people around us shocked me. He hasnt seen her in a while so he was sooooooo happy.

He was the PERFECT man in the mall too. Walked the whole thing on a flat (i had his training collar just incase because its been a HOT minute since we've done something as huge as the mall) he had a perfect heel, ignored ALL the drive by pets, kids, saw a security dog and he ignored flawlessly, took a nap while he watched my brother go bowling, and had the time of his little life showing off how good of a boy he is 🩵

This man blew me away today. As a self trained handler sometimes i question my ability to train/get imposter syndrome but he proves to me over and over i KNOW what im doing because hes only been trained by myself 🥹🩵 tomorrow we're going on another adventure so stay tuned 🫢🤫
