Hey friends & amazing clients 👋
I’m putting out a feeler because Canadian K9 is on the hunt for a new training location for group classes and the occasional private session.
Ideally, I’m looking for:
• Indoor with or without grassy outdoor area (fenced or ability to put temporary fencing) or covered space (barn, shop, warehouse, arena, etc.)
• Dog-friendly (obviously 🐕)
• Affordable-would rather not do hourly
• Flexible scheduling (evening and weekends-can change sometimes)
• Month-to-month arrangement
This would be used for structured group classes and some private training — I carry my own insurance.

Hello all, I know I've been a little MIA over the last two months. As many of you know, I had the amazing opportunity to go learn and train in Edmonton at Elite Dog Centre with Jen. I learned so many amazing new things, I can not wait to share them with everyone.
Unfortunately, during this time, I have had not 1 but 2 family medical emergencies and have not had the time to get back to everyone, nor plan this next year's training classes.
With all that being said, I do plan on getting back to everyone by Sunday, February 1st, and hopefully have a few classes planned for the next couple of months.

I will be mostly unreachable while I spend some much needed time with my family, I will be checking messages when I can.
I do want to apologize for those who I have not gotten back to in the last couple weeks. We have had some family emergencies and unfortunately a loss of a family member. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

🎄 Merry Christmas from Canadian K9 🎄
What a YEAR.
So many wins, a few tears, a whole lot of dog hair, and growth I never saw coming.
This year brought big lessons, big goals, and the hardest goodbye to Bella and I’m endlessly grateful for the love and support you all showed during that time. Seriously, you guys are unreal. 🖤
Between traveling to train in different northern towns, learning new skills, and chasing bigger goals, 2025 was wild… and 2026 is already looking even better. Going to Edmonton in January to learn more, bring exciting new things back to the north and hopefully whip Franklin into shape 🤭

Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, supporting my small business, and sticking with me through it all.
Merry Christmas — give your dogs an extra treat for me 🎄🐾

For those of you who ask about buying vs adopting, I will ALWAYS support our local shelters but I also know my next dog will come from an ETHICAL breeder for the purpose of being a sporting dog which requires certain traits, structure, and background. If everyone bought from ethical breeders with rock solid contracts that state the breeder will take the dog back if you can not keep it, our shelters would see a HUGE drop in dogs needing homes and mutts that have horrible health issues.
This lady is a great resource to follow for the DO's and DON'T's of buying from a breeder.
GET HEALTH TESTING AND TEMPERAMENT TESTING!
