Une journée d'expérimentation sur les myxomycètes (slime mold aka blob) 👽. On teste la culture de deux espèces différentes (Physarum polycephalum 🟡 et Badhamia utricularis 🟠) qui proviennent de trois vendeurs, le tout sur deux méthodes distinctes : avec du agar-agar et sur papier essuie-tout.
Today, we're experimenting on slime mold from three different sellers ☀️ We're testing with agar-agar and the paper towel method and we have two different species : Physarum polycephalum and badhamia utricularis 🟡🟠

Returning to our roots 🦐
The journey of Cubaris - etc. started like a lot of people here : with a few powder orange.

Our mission is to diversify the hobby in Canada and offer rarer pods. Still, a lot of people love the common species for a lot of reasons.

✅️ They are phenomenal clean up crew
✅️ They're easy to take care for
✅️ They breed well 👉 that makes them a good food source for their reptiles/amphibians

So, now available once again, Porcellionides pruinosus "Powder orange" and "Powder blue 💪 Twin them with lilac and tiny white, that's a match made in heaven for your terrarium.

I'm pretty proud of the evolution of this project 🙏❤️ It's maturing amazingly from my perspective.

A few additions to come, would like to put some sturdier "liana" look-alike wood. Two have felt overtime by decomposition. Plus, I still have a new epiphyte fern to add to the background.
