You don’t get to complain about the results you didn’t work for.

You can’t ride twice a month and wonder why you’re not progressing.

You can’t skip the hard days and expect your horse to be better.

You can’t blame the horse, the judges, the trainer, the competition, or bad luck every time you don’t get the result you wanted.

You can’t skip lessons or working with a trainer and expect to magically know how to fix things or catch yourself messing up.

At some point, you have to ask yourself: did I actually do the work?

Because the riders getting better aren’t necessarily the most talented.

They’re the ones who show up, shut up, and put the work in.

Stop complaining about the results.

Earn different ones.

September group lessons are open for registration!

We’ll be starting our next 4-week session in September with groups for both kids and adults.

Saturday Kids Groups: Starting September 12
10:00–10:45am Beginner/Novice Kids (Walk to Walk/Trot) Ages 4+
11:00–11:45am Intermediate Kids (Walk/Trot/Canter)

Saturday Adult Groups Starting September 12
1:00–1:45pm Beginner Adults (walk/trot)
2:00–2:45pm Intermediate Adults (walk/trot/canter)

Saturday dates: Sept 12, 19, 26 & Oct 3

Wednesday Evening Starting September
Intermediate Adults 5:30–6:15pm

Wednesday dates: Sept 9,16, 23, 30

Groups are limited to 4 riders and are $200 + GST for the 4-week session. English and Western riders are welcome, and safe lesson horses are provided

"Patch"
16.2hh, late teens, grade gelding

Goes walk, trot, canter under saddle, has some dressage background and loves to hit the trails!

He throughly enjoys being pampered, going to work and enjoying nature. He has three ground covering gaits, a good stop and some buttons. He does best with a rider who has some skill as he can be tricky to keep on the rail in certain spots of the arena for less strong riders. He believes the oval is a far superior shape to the rectangle. Minimal spook and safe to ride

Easy to catch, ties, loads, bathes, easy to have in a herd.

He has compromised vision in his left eye. This does not negatively impact his comfortable or ability to do his job. The cause is unknown as he came to us this way. Our vet is not concerned about future issues with this eye

This has been a long time coming!
We have put together a small group of horses that will be available for half and full leases at our facility in Silver Creek, Salmon Arm, BC

This is a great option for riders who want more consistent time with one horse without the full commitment and expense of owning.

We currently have five horses available:

A gelding available for English or Western flatwork
19 years old, 16.2hh, with a dressage background best suited for an intermediate rider

A mare available primarily for trail riding
16 years old, 14.3hh, loves to go out on her own or in a group to explore the outdoors, best suited for an advanced beginner or higher

An experienced all-around mare who can be ridden English or Western, has all the buttons, jumps and is great on the trails
12 year old, 14.2hh, best suited for an intermediate

A mare available for English flatwork and jumping
9 year old, 16hh, best suited for an intermediate

A gelding available for lead line or light riding for a child
Safe, sane and a great starter horse

Half Lease $650 + GST per month

• One lesson per week
• Two independent rides per week
• Use of the horse’s regular tack
• Access to our indoor and outdoor arenas
• Trail access for horses that are suitable for trail riding

Full Lease $1,100 + GST per month

• One lesson per week
• Up to five independent rides per week
• Use of the horse’s regular tack
• Access to our indoor and outdoor arenas
• Trail access for horses that are suitable for trail riding

Additional lessons are available to leasers and can be booked separately at our regular lesson rate.

Riders must be capable of catching, grooming, tacking up and riding independently. Horses will be carefully matched to riders based on experience, goals and riding ability. Jumping and trail access will depend on the individual horse and rider.

These are on property leases only at our facility
Horse care, feed, routine farrier and regular veterinary expenses are included.

13 year old, 15.2hh, Registered QH gelding
Super stocky and strong built horse with a nice way of moving

Goes walk, trot, lope under saddle. Turns of the forehand, on the hunches, side passes, leg yields, rolls back and has a good stop. Nice forward ride with crisp transitions

Ideal for someone looking for a horse to do arena work with. He is quite athletic for his build and could go a variety of directions. While he does go out on the trails he is spooky.
