Feeling extra thankful this weekend 🧡🐾

To every client who trusts me with their pets—thank you. Getting to know their little personalities, watching them become more comfortable with me, and being part of their care means so much.

Every appointment, referral, kind review, and shared post helps my little business grow. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or just joined the Nails2Tails family, I’m so grateful for you! 💜

These sweet faces are just a few of the many pets I’m thankful for. Wishing you and your furry family a cozy Thanksgiving weekend! 🍂

Love, Kiki 🐾

🧡 Together, we honour and remember.

Today, KiKi’s Nails2Tails marks Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The sweet faces in this post are part of my little grooming community. Animals bring comfort and connection to so many of our lives, and I’m sharing their familiar faces alongside a message of remembrance and compassion.

We honour the Indigenous children who never came home from residential schools, the survivors, and their families and communities. Today is a reminder to listen to Indigenous voices, learn, and carry that care beyond just one day.

Every Child Matters. Today and always. 🧡

🐾✨ **Fluff & Facts Friday!** ✨🐾

Did you know your pet’s coat can tell you more than just when it’s time for a groom? 👀🐶🐱

A soft, smooth and comfortable coat is always great to see, but changes like **excessive shedding, thinning spots, flakes, redness, greasiness or constant scratching** can be signs that something else may be going on.

As a groomer, I get to be up close and personal with your pets’ skin and coat, which means sometimes I may notice little changes you haven’t spotted yet! 💜 While groomers can’t diagnose medical conditions, I’ll always let you know if I see something that may be worth mentioning to your veterinarian. 🩺🐾

Regular grooming isn’t just about looking cute — it’s another opportunity to keep an eye on your pet from **nose to tail!** 🥰

🐾🍂 Wags & Whiskers Wednesday — Meet Jersey! 🍂🐾
This handsome little guy is Jersey, and he’s extra special around here because he’s Fayth’s pup! 💜
Jersey enjoyed a well-deserved bath & spa day and left feeling fresh, clean, soft, and of course looking absolutely adorable. 🛁🫧✨
But Jersey is more than just one of my furry clients — without Jersey, I wouldn’t have met Fayth! 🥹💕 And now Fayth is part of the KiKi’s Nails2Tails crew as my student helper. Funny how our furry friends have a way of bringing the right people into our lives. 🐾
Thanks for being the cutest little matchmaker, Jersey! 😂💜

🐾 Fluff & Facts Friday: Bulldog Edition! 🐾
Bulldogs may have short coats, but they still need regular grooming! Brushing helps remove loose fur, clean and dry wrinkles help prevent irritation, and routine nail care keeps them comfortable on their feet. Don’t forget—flat-faced breeds can also overheat more easily, so keep them cool and watch for signs of heat stress! 🐶💜

Need a little help keeping your bulldog feeling fresh and comfortable? Book your mobile or salon-on-the-bus appointment at nails2tails.ca 🛁✂️

🐾 Wags & Whiskers Wednesday: Meet Oscar! 🐾
Oscar has been a long-term client of mine, along with his siblings, and I always love visiting this sweet family for their nail trims! 💜
Oscar is one of those special dogs with a big story. He has faced several health challenges, but he was saved by an incredible family who continues to love him and support him through every condition. He is a true little fighter and is so lucky to have found the family he did! 🥹🐶
I also want to give a huge shoutout to Oscar’s mom and her small business, Beautiful Things Home Decor! She created these amazing KiKi’s Nails2Tails shirts for us and makes custom home décor, shirts and so much more. Please show her small business some love! 🏡✨
Thank you to Oscar’s family for trusting me with your fur babies and for supporting my little business, too! 🧡
