Well the trip was absolutely lovely, but I am very much looking forward to coming home!
To my clients- your continued support and patience this year has been outstanding! While a new vehicle is still at least a few month out of reach, a HUGE thank you to everyone who consistently makes the trip allowing me to continue working from home. Appreciate it!

Part 5? 6? MooMoo's finally ready for a bath. Because we have no option but to air dry in the sun, im going to shampoo her twice as soon as day breaks, then the following day probably too more shampoos, and see if I can work through the rest of the matting on her tail before I fly home. Owners said if I want to bring my tools next year, well I'll always have my holiday client to look forward to in the future.

Well ALMOST got the worst of the worst shaved off.. until the clippers burnt out. (Saw that coming a mile away) going to comb out as much as possible, focusing around the neck, and the smell i cant even describe. Can't wait for the shampo! This is my worst/ugliest but most satisfying job of the year. Of course its while on holidays right?

MooMoos progress part 3 of many. Spoke with owners, she has indeed never been on a leash, and hasnt been indoors in the last 5 of her 6 years. My thoughts confirmed, she feared calling a groomer because if they shaved her down, she would freeze (or their guardian dog would have to spend winter inside instead of doing her job!) The worst of the matting is off now (except the tail) next hot day we'll do a good bath, the following day back to brushing and clipping.

Part 2 of many.. MooMoos transformation. Owners had a cheap pair of clippers that I will absolutely most likely be burning out. I cant just shave a dog like this, its the end of august in the canadian prairies.. shes an outdoor dog and needs as much coat as possible. With a helping of burger patty.. were getting the worst spots little by little. The bugs.. well let's just say I am bringing sunlight into their well established civilization on MooMoos tummy. over vanity
