As we wrap up another Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you all had a beautiful holiday doing some of the things you love most with those you love most.
This Thanksgiving I’m reflecting on the supporters I’m so grateful to have and who allow us to continue our work everyday. Supporters come in various forms - donors, partners, fosters, sharers, boots-on-the-ground, all contributing in their own way to keep the ship afloat.
I’m also reflecting on the last few months. Not all situations make it to social media, but to say this was one hell of a summer in rescue and that I was barely keeping my head above water most days, might be putting it lightly. And to say I’m thankful for the supporters who were there, in the depths many days, would be another understatement. To the listeners, the advisors, the moral supporters, those who lightened the load, the ones who were there on the worst days, thank you will never be enough. I’m truly grateful to have you on my team.
