Looking for the perfect placement and haven't found it yet. More detail about what Im looking for for this special girl! Very hard decision for me so has to be the perfect partner for her :)

DOB Jan 12 2021 - 5 yrs old
IGP1 titled (95-93-95)
Going for IGP2 in October
Completely health tested. Hips, elbows, genetic panel.

What I am looking for:
First choice: Someone local(ish) who wants to learn from us at Kent K9, and compete in the sport of IGP/Schutzhund (don't need to have previous sport experience but must have a desire to do IGP) This dog can take someone to any level. Would be my first choice to see her in a home that she will compete or at least continue to do the sport.

Second choice - someone who has experience in the sport who will compete with her, whether local or not.

Third choice - someone who wants a dog to be a companion, who likes to train them for fun, and wants a fancy trained dog, and will let her live her life with you. Must be active and not have other dogs.

Lots of videos available.

Shes great with all people, including small kids.

Not suitable for a home with other dogs unless kennel set up and rotate situation or maybe with a GSD male. Not sure about cats. She was great with ours but ours loved dogs.

Loves playing with her ball. Loves running with the sxs.
Loves it in the woods.

Not suitable for personal protection.

Very kind and loving with her humans. Been around my toddler and she is great.

Last chance to get in on the Board & Train Recap classes and Rally class which both start tmrw night! :)

Pictured is "Tankerton", a young Rottweiler here for our board & train program for puppies.

He has the recessive long coat gene in Rottweilers which makes his coat long compared to the typical Rottweiler. He is a super cool guy!

He is also enrolled in our Basic Obedience class and the Rally class. His owner is doing everything they can to make sure he grows up a good canine citizen! :)

What is Rally Obedience?
Rally is a competitive sport where you and your dog complete a series of "stations" on a course designed by the judge.
You are pointed on how cleanly you complete the course, which typically has 10-20 stations, depending on the level.
Its super fun and a great entry level sport for dog handlers who want to do something with their dogs!

Come learn about Rally, and try it out in our 5 week class, starting this Friday! You will learn how to interpret signs of a Novice level, and train your dog to do the basics.

Don't have a dog but want to try it out? We can provide a dog for you so you can have fun too!

Last week, Valour the doodle puppy came to get ready for our Basic Obedience class.
Isnt she adorable!?

2 km walk with 7 dogs this morning. Winnie (here for boarding) Tank (here for training) Max, June, Dobes (here for training), Milo and Sailor. Then went tracking with the other 2 girls, Boxey and Hilda.
Now IGP training all day after lunch!
Sundays are big days.
We try to do this walk every morning with the pack to take some morning steam off.

Sailor helped with "Pixie" yesterday morning, to show her dogs arent scary.
Pixie will be attending our group puppy class coming up. Shes such a smart girl!

This will be our only Basic Obedience class in 2026 so make sure you get in on what group classes can offer!
*a chance to train under real distractions consistently, with the guidance of a professional to set you up for success 🙌*

We are also offering 2 other classes (see posters)

Since we mainly focus on Board & Train programs, and have a toddler which makes scheduling hard, we haven't had time to do a group class in a few years!
Trying it out again due to demand and a long wait list that Im trying to work through. (Thank you everyone for your patience)

What else is new?
We are preparing for an IGP trial with 2 of our personal dogs in October, as well as coaching 9 teams, 5 of whom are trialing as well.

We are trying to finish some things up before winter, which is feeling awfully close with this weeks change of weather.
With painting to do, fencing, and much more, we are always going full out between training and working to keep the place looking tip top.
