A little appreciation post for one of our mamas here, Miche. 🤍
Miche is the kindest, gentlest soul. She’s slightly timid and definitely our most sensitive girlie. She loves everyone she meets, but she likes to take her time getting to know you first. Once she trusts you, you have a friend for life.
She’s the mama to Draco, Vega and Lyra, and somehow managed to pass that same sweet, gentle nature down to all three of them.
Miche is also a Canadian Champion who finished in just four shows. Her very first time stepping into the show ring, she beat male specials — something I’ll always be so proud of. She has everything I’ve ever wanted in this breed: type, bone, beautiful movement, and most importantly, that beautiful Bernese temperament.
But as proud as I am of everything she’s accomplished, none of that is what makes her so special to me.
She’s my girl. She’s a friend to so many of my friends, a favourite around here, and one of those dogs who quietly becomes part of everyone’s heart. I genuinely cannot imagine life on the farm without her.
Miche comes from Alpenspirit BMDS, my mentors and people I have so much respect for in this breed. They trusted me with this incredibly special girl, and I’ll forever be grateful for that trust. She has become such an important part of our family and our breeding program, and I don’t take that for granted.
Anyone lucky enough to have a Miche baby has a little piece of a very, very special girl. 🤍
