We had another date night tonight with Re*****on. Poppy is going to go see him again tomorrow night. It's looking good it takes a little more time with the first timer. But she really likes him and it's really apparent so it's going to work.

Tips for dealing with fireworks loud noises:
1. Your dog will reflect what you do. If you are nervous about how they will react to fireworks or thunder, they will react. Project calm.

2. When attending events where fireworks are planned. Keep your dog secure and comfortable. Leashes with a proper fitting harness or collar. Settle them beside you.

3. If they react, speak calmly and quietly. I use, "you're ok" and mine are all trained that "what's that" means you're ok to be curious not scared.

4. Desensitize prior to events by using videos, sound clips, or apps of thunder and fireworks. Start a low volume and reward for calmness. Over several days, increase the volume. Short 10 treat sessions so as not to overwhelm. My husband frequently jokes about hearing the sounds of world war three coming from the bathroom while I'm desensitizing puppies in a small space.

5. Do not reward fear. Have a reactive dog settle beside you. A couple pats and then calmly appear to disregard them. If they rise or get antsy, calmly settle them again. This helps train them that you are their safe person and when afraid, to come to you. Give treats for calm behaviour and calmly correct the fear response.

Goblin born fourth March 2026 is looking for her forever home.

We initially held her back because she was such a busy puppy and I was concerned that she would be too much for the average home. She will need a fair bit of intellectual stimulation but she is settling in to be a typical Corgi. She is following her mother and auntie examples and, like them, she is a joy to have around.

Her exercise needs are not as much as I initially thought which is wonderful. She plays with her other corgis for several hours a day out in an open fenced yard plus she's going on 3 km hikes twice a week.

She is very affectionate and loves to be around people. She gets along with other dogs just fine, she's met many. She has met over 350 people. She has a ton of personality and a goofy attitude and like all Corgis she really stands up for herself.

Marty's song writing is going to the next level. He has 4 songs already on spotify thru other artists. Now he's his own label. He writes the songs and then curates the voice and music and composes the song to fit his vision using a few different programs. Some songs do use our voices as a base. Over the next several months we will be adding songs as he has many ready to publish. Please join us on this journey ♡
