Yesterday we had a Fun Day, and what fun it was.

Students got to hangout and meet other students. We did a bunch of different gymkhana patterns and even some on foot barrel racing haha and students were chasing personal bests on different patterns. I’m so proud of the group of students I have. Everyone was so encouraging, positive, and supportive all day.

It was nice to see some of the older riders helping out the younger riders and helping each other out. The positive encouragement that was shown made me a proud coach.

Shout out to Vanessa and Bentley on a very consistent day being in the top 3 every event but 1.!!

Shout out to Brooklyn on finding a new gear with smoke.!!

Grace had the best technique of the day on all her patterns.!!

Zayden was determined on making his pony move and even claimed 2nd in the Big T.!!

Annabelle and Bria, you two got to feel what an excited horse that wants to do his job feels like and both rode great. Red took you both to another level and it was great to see you both handle it so well.

I’m looking forward to having another fun day next year.

Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

I’m so grateful for all of our current, past, and future clients. I’m grateful to have a full lesson program of coachable and determined students, and supportive parents. Im thankful for healthy, happy, and wonderful horses.

Today we took Red and Bentley to Sutton’s daycare. The children got to meet them, take a pony ride, and give them a treat at the end. It was a great morning seeing all the children so happy to meet the boys.

Big Thank You to Annabelle and Vanessa for helping out today and being awesome horse handlers.

Sutton was also pretty excited to show her friends Bentley and Red.

Thank you Tiny Tots for inviting us to put smiles on the children’s faces.

My students amaze me.!!

As most know, Aria came to us in the middle of July. She had never been ridden before.

Jade has been riding Aria now for a couple months. She has been doing a phenomenal job with helping bring Aria along under saddle. Jade has such amazing horsemanship and praises Aria when she is successful at a task. Jade was working on her loping and her transitions tonight and they both put in the hard work to be successful.

Jade is such a lovely rider, with so much potential. She is dedicated and determined. I’m so proud of her, and grateful to be her coach.

One the weekend Sutton and I headed off to Salmond racing stables in Weekes for the 10th Anniversary District 10 Mini Finals.

Sutton is working on rebuilding her confidence after a fall and she’s doing great.

Red and I had some amazing runs, and he was getting faster each run. He was running 2D times all weekend and finished 4th in the 2D in the short go.

China exceeded all expectations and ended up winning the 4D Championship Buckle and display case. She really stepped up to the plate in the short go.

It was a great weekend. Congratulations to all competitors. Thank you to the Salmonds for hosting the event and thank you to D10 Committee for the fabulous event.

Last weeks challenge winner was Bria on Red doing the barrels.

Way to come back so strong after being off with an injury for a few months Bria. Being your coach for the past 2 years has been amazing. You have grown so much as a rider.

We had a challenge between students this week. This was actually a lot of fun.

Let’s finish off the last 2 weeks of summer with some fun.

This week we are trying out the Bend and Jump gymkhana pattern. You weave 3 poles, go around the barrel (not turn it, just go around it) and then go over the jump.

This one might become a few students favourite.

I enjoy surprising my students with different gymkhana events to improve skills all while having fun doing it.
