In the early hours of Mother’s Day, this handsome little c**t made his long-awaited arrival. 🤍

This journey to motherhood has not been an easy one for his mama; GetALegUp. Despite previous heartbreaks and never being able to carry a foal to full term, we decided — with careful planning and the incredible guidance of the team at Port Perry Veterinary Services — to try one more time.

Under the close monitoring and medical management of Dr. Rachel throughout the pregnancy, and with the skilled veterinary assistance of Dr. Kathleen during a very complicated delivery, this little guy safely entered the world in the early hours of the morning.
There is no doubt that without the dedication, expertise, and quick action of both Dr. Rachel and Dr. Kathleen, we would not be celebrating this special c**t today.

This mare’s only other foal was born through embryo transfer, which makes this Mother’s Day baby feel even more extraordinary.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the two-legged and four-legged moms out there. 💐🐴
