🐾❤️ FOOD FOR EVERY FAMILY MEMBER — COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE ❤️🐾 Operation Scugog Foodbank

Today I dropped off some extra cat food at Operation Scugog. I arrived right around opening time, and there was already a lineup.

I saw people picking up groceries for themselves and supplies for their cats, and it hit me hard.

I know what it’s like to have very little and still worry about how you’re going to feed the pet you love. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding an animal who depends on them.

So I want to do something. ❤️

I’m organizing a food drive with a special focus on items that can sometimes be harder or more expensive for families to access:

🐱 Cat food & supplies
🐶 Dog food & supplies
🌾 Gluten-free foods
🥛 Dairy-free foods
🥜 Allergen-friendly foods
🧴 Everyday essentials

Of course, other shelf-stable food donations are welcome too!

Our pets are family, and people with celiac disease or food allergies deserve access to food they can safely eat, regardless of what their bank account looks like.

I’ll be sharing more details about collection dates and drop-off shortly. For now, if you’d be interested in donating, please let me know! Even one bag, box or can can help make somebody’s week a little easier. 🥺❤️

Let’s help feed every member of the family — two-legged and four-legged. 🐾

Apparently the Terry Fox Run snuck up on me this year 😭❤️

I’m participating tomorrow and realized I completely forgot to ask for pledges!

If anyone would like to sponsor me, even a few dollars would mean so much. Every donation supports cancer research in Terry’s name. 🇨🇦❤️

No pressure at all — and thank you so much to anyone who donates or shares! 🥰

In 1980 Terry showed us what courage, compassion and determination look like. Today that example is needed more than ever and I am inspired to join more than 100,000 Terry Foxers this fall who are...
