Roo (Roxanne on paper) arrived at a shelter alongside two male dogs, all emaciated and neglected. She has since been able to decompress in a foster home, learn that humans are kind, she will always have food and water, and the world is absolutely wonderful.
Despite all sheโs been through, Roo has such enthusiasm for everything in life, and a spirit that lights up the room. Roo loves everyone and happy is her default! She is a medium-high energy dog who wants to adventure, play, cuddle, and be part of whatever her humans are doing. Sheโs nicknamed Roo because of her adorable, happy kangaroo-like bounces.

Roo thrives on choice, freedom to run, as well as affection and shared experiences. Sheโs funloving, goofy, bonds deeply, and wants nothing more than to be โdoing lifeโ with her humans.
