The quality of a horse's future is often decided in its first education.
C**t starting isn't about getting through the first thirty rides. It's about creating a horse that stays sound, stays willing, and continues to improve long after it leaves my program.
What matters isn't just those first rides—it's everything that comes before them. Teaching a young horse to understand pressure, carry itself with balance, think through uncertainty, and trust the person beside it lays the foundation for a lifetime of success.
My goal isn't simply to produce a horse that's "broke." It's to develop one that's confident, athletic, soft in both body and mind, and prepared for whatever job comes next. Whether your goal is a dependable trail partner, a ranch horse, a cowhorse, an English performance horse, or a reliable family mount, every horse receives a unique and thoughtful foundation.
My training emphasizes biomechanics, natural self-carriage, and clear communication, helping each horse become a willing, capable partner rather than one that simply learns to cope.
