Thank you to Sheatre for coming to our ranch and sharing about a very important topic through actors and interaction! What an amazing afternoon learning about Intimate Partner Abuse in the elderly.

"Remembering Gladys Ryan". A new play by Sheatre about love, power, abuse and finding a way out. Abuse isn't age exclusive.

Abuse doesn't retire. But people of any age can learn how to find a way out. The play will be followed by a Q & A session.

According to Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario, Intimate partner violence (IPV) among seniors aged 65+ increased by 42% from 2014 to 2022. What can we do to help stop this trend?

This new play is supported by the Grey Bruce Community Legal Clinic and Grey Bruce Elder Abuse Prevention Network. "Remember Gladys Ryan" is funded by New Horizons for Seniors, Community Foundation Grey Bruce, the Ontario Arts Council and Ron Todd & Associates IG Wealth Management.

Our boy Tuey (Tucson) is convinced he is starving before breakfast. So he gives me his angry ears. It is funny because there is not a mean bone in this boy's body!!
