Not an easy post to make. We are heartbroken with the sudden and unexpected passing of our sweet boy Wrigley on Tues Jan 13th. He wasn't even 4 years old.
There were no signs and he had come to the house for his breakfast but when we opened the back door with his bowl of breakfast he had passed only moments before that. No blood , no signs of being sick.
We connected with the U of C veterinary faculty to have a necropsy completed. We got the preliminary report today and he passed of a massive heart attack due to a birth defect that we would have had no idea he had. He has brought us so much joy in this short time and now he has gained his "pigs can fly" status and joining chewy, lotus and ebony until the big oak tree. 💔 🐽
