I just love, love, LOVE and adore this family graduation picture with Ollie! 💖🥹💖

Ollie first came to us last year for Puppy Manners when he was just over 3 months old. 🐶 At that time, he was quite shy and uncomfortable around new people and some dogs.

By the time he leveled up to Teen Manners, he had already gained so much confidence—especially with his recall—and his family was so happy with his progress. 💖

Then, after taking a few months’ break before joining Advanced Manners, his family realized something very important: the tools they had learned with us needed to become part of their everyday communication with Ollie.

That’s when their commitment really kicked in—and we started seeing such a dramatic change, especially in the relationship between Ollie and his dad! 🥹💖

After completing Advanced Manners, Ollie moved on to Recall Excellence, where the challenge became even bigger. When he was having the BEST time playing with his favorite people and dog friends… coming back to Daddy wasn’t always his first choice! 😂🐶

But voilà!! ✨

After just 3 weeks of our intensive Recall Excellence course, Ollie’s speedy recall is now TOP NOTCH! 🎉🐶👏

What a journey—from that shy little 3-month-old puppy to this confident boy with such a beautiful connection with his family. 💖

We already miss Ollie and his precious smile, but looking at the happy, smiling faces of his entire family in this graduation picture warms my heart so deeply. 🥹🥹💖

Some moments are too precious for words…🥹💖

This is my mom, who recently immigrated to Canada from Japan. 🇯🇵🍁

You may be surprised to know that Chillie, who was adopted by my friend a few years ago, has never been the type of puppy to walk up to a new person and shower them with affection so quickly.

So what was the secret?

First, of course, it was my friend’s dedication to building trust through positive reinforcement and kind communication with Chillie.

Second, my mom never tried to win her over. She simply shared the space peacefully, never invading Chillie’s boundaries, never even looking directly at her—just quietly being present.

As I always teach in my classes, dogs communicate through body language and emotional energy far more than words.

My mom’s calm, gentle, and serene presence spoke directly to Chillie’s heart. Within just an hour of meeting her, Chillie chose to walk over on her own and cover my mom with sweet puppy kisses. 🥹💖

Watching trust bloom so naturally is one of the most beautiful things about dogs. I feel incredibly grateful that I was able to capture this fleeting, heartwarming moment. 🙏✨🐶

Puppies begin learning social cues from littermates. Signs of calming include freezing, turning their head away, yawning, blinking, and lip-licking. Once they understand these signals, they will adapt to other puppies and dogs in their environment.
We make sure assessing who’s who on first week then carefully match their compatible friend😊🐶

Such a pleasure to have watched these sweet faces to graduate all our classes✨🐶
Especially when they come in unsure about the group classes and being around other dogs a little shy like this little Ruby who has become more social and not fearful around other dogs and accomplished some of the kindergarten agility obstacles🥳
Hera the golden beauty has always been adjustable sweet girl but her recall was becoming a bit challenging so this time of our classes reinforced her focus and connection with her daddy🥰
It was a special sweet semi private graduation session🥹💖
