Okay tell me….. does it get much better than this? 🥹🐴✨🙌

I am so grateful to have such an amazing horse to be able to experience this with. The calm in the forest on horseback is something so special.

My client Kaitlin shared this with me today about her sweet QH mare, Sierra. 🥰🐴
“I certainly see the value in the salt. This is the best summer she’s had, breathing-wise, in about 5 years. I think I used all of 5 dex packets instead of at least 1 box of 30.” 🤍✨
Results like these mean the world to me as an equine salt therapy practitioner. I am not saying that every single horse is going to respond to salt treatments as well or as quickly as Sierra did, but lots of my clients do, and I love being able to share their stories. 🥰
Salt therapy isn’t a cure-all for every breathing issue. However, it can help support your horse’s respiratory health, loosen mucus, and reduce inflammation in the airways. 💨🧘
I am grateful to be a part of Sierra’s wellness routine and that she had such amazing results. 🥰 If your horse is struggling with allergies, a cough, mucus, heaves, or asthma, salt therapy may be an incredible addition to your horse’s care routine, too. 🧂🙌

Thank you for sharing Kaitlin Lewington 💚

🍂🧡 Happy Thanksgiving from Rock Well Equine Salt Therapy! 🦃✨

I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who has supported Rock Well over the past 2 years. I feel so honoured to be a part of your horses’ wellness journeys and to share in the excitement with so many of you when you start noticing a difference in your horses’ respiratory health after their salt therapy sessions.🧂✨Being able to do what I love and connect with so many amazing horse owners is something I never take for granted. 💚

This Thanksgiving feels a little different for my family. Due to illness, my Dad wasn’t able to be home with us for the holiday. As our first holiday apart came and went, it was definitely something we all struggled with.
It’s made me slow down a little more this year, take a step back, and really appreciate the moments we have together. I’m so grateful for my Dad’s recovery journey and that we were still able to spend time with him, even if things looked a little different than we had hoped. 😔❤️‍🩹

I know many of you may be facing your first holiday with a loved one who is sick, or perhaps your first holiday without someone you wish could still be here. 🤍If there’s one thing this year has reminded me, it’s to hold our loved ones a little closer, have those deeper conversations, take that trail ride just you and your horse, stop to admire the view, and appreciate the little moments we sometimes get too busy to notice.

Life can change in ways we never expect, and sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply be present for the moments we have right now. 🫶🏼

The growth Rock Well has experienced over the past year has been such an incredible blessing, and I truly couldn’t have done it without all of your support, encouragement, and trust in my little business. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. 🐴💚

Wishing you, your families, and of course, your horses, a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and special moments together.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍂🧡

Has your horse been sounding like this lately? 🤧😷

As we move through the seasonal change here in Ontario, I’ve been hearing from more and more horse owners noticing coughing, mucus and changes in their horse’s breathing. 👎
The big temperature swings, cooler mornings, warmer afternoons, changing air quality, dust and allergens can all be a lot for our horses’ respiratory systems. It’s also the time of year when we tend to see more colds and respiratory bugs going around in people, and our horses can definitely be more sensitive during these seasonal transitions too.
This is where salt therapy can be a great addition to your horse’s wellness routine. 💚
During a session, the horse inhales tiny dry salt particles which travel through the respiratory system. Salt therapy is commonly used to help support healthy airways, loosen and thin mucus, and help clear out dust and other unwanted particles from the respiratory tract.
For horses dealing with seasonal coughs, allergies, heaves or simply needing a little extra respiratory support during this time of year, it can be a great time to give salt therapy a try.
And sometimes it’s not about waiting until your horse is really struggling — adding regular sessions into their routine can be a nice preventative and maintenance option as we head into the cooler months. 🧂🫁
If your horse has suddenly started coughing or you’ve noticed a change in their breathing, it’s always important to have your veterinarian involved to determine what’s going on. Salt therapy is a complementary wellness service and not a replacement for veterinary care. 🐴💚
If you’ve been noticing a little more coughing lately, send me a message! I’m happy to answer any questions about how a session works and whether it might be a good fit for your horse.

🐴💚 Woodville & Blackstock — I’m heading your way!
I’ll be in Woodville tomorrow and in Blackstock tomorrow, Wednesday & Thursday with a few openings available for salt therapy sessions. 🤗
With the seasons changing and the cooler weather coming in, it’s a great time to give your horse a little extra respiratory support — especially for those dealing with allergies, coughs, mucus, heaves or just needing some maintenance and overall wellness support. 🧂🌿
If you’re in the area and have been thinking about trying salt therapy, this is a great time to book and save on travel fees! If you have a few horses at your barn that would like to join in, we can also split the travel between clients. 💚
Whether it’s your horse’s first session or they’re already regulars, send me a message and I’ll get you booked in! be sure to share this with someone who has a horse that could use it.

It was a busy day out in Omemee starting with the Double H Ranch horses. I’m so happy to be a regular part of their wellness routine and to see them having such a great show season. 🤍🧂🐎 I always admire Jeff, Amy & their show team for the dedication they put into their horses and their horsemanship.

What a great Sunday watching the Eastern Canadian Championships at Restoration Ranch! 🐴💚
Grass Roots did an incredible job organizing this event, and I was so thrilled to be invited out to offer salt therapy sessions for the horses, meet so many new people, and see so many familiar faces (horses and riders ☺️).
It was my first time at Restoration Ranch, and I would LOVE to go back! It’s such a great facility, and you can really see the family and community they have built there. 🤍
Knotty Pony Halters & Headstalls was great company in the vendor area, and I can’t wait to get a halter made for Syd. 🥰 If you haven’t checked them out already, definitely give them a follow! They were a huge hit at the show this weekend! 🤗
I really enjoyed having so many first-time saltys join us yesterday, and it was awesome to see how excited everyone was to have their horses experience salt therapy! We saw lots of mucus and drainage from the horses after their sessions, and we hope to see them all back and feeling their best. 💧✨🐎
Make sure you give us a follow so you don’t miss any of the upcoming events we’ll be joining!
And don’t forget — this Wednesday is the final day to secure our fall promo of 3 sessions for just $250/horse! 🤧🍂🧂
Thanks again for such a wonderful weekend. I’m so happy I could be a part of it! 🤍
