Astro’s Oil

09/18/2026

Hi

We wanted to take a moment to introduce you to three rescues we are proud to support — people on the absolute frontlines of animal care, dealing with some of the most extreme and critical cases out there. The animals nobody else will take. The ones everyone else gave up on.

Astro's Oil was born from exactly that spirit. Dr. Marcovici created the original formula in 2007 because his own cat Astro was dying of kidney failure and conventional medicine had nothing left to offer. He refused to give up. What started as one man's love for one cat has grown into something we never could have imagined — reaching pets and families in countries all over the world.

These three rescues represent that same refusal to give up. They have tried everything. They have access to every option available to them. And this is what they keep coming back to. Not because they have no other options — because nothing else delivers like this does.

In Klaudia's own words: "Astros translates to extend life and reduce suffering. A second chance."

We don't advertise. We never have. Word of mouth is everything to us. Every share of this post is a direct line to a pet whose owner simply doesn't know this level of help exists.

Please share this. And if you can — donate to Takis Shelter, Voice For The Animals Foundation or KlawsNAll. They are doing extraordinary work and they deserve every bit of support.

Meet Piet!

Piet came to us in October of 2025 at 14 years old, in renal failure, with lab values so severe that conventional medicine had nothing left to offer. With a prognosis of just two to three weeks to live, his mom Maria was told to prepare to say goodbye.

Piet didn't get the memo. Even with his bloodwork in crisis territory, he stayed alert, hungry, and affectionate — so much so that his own vet was stunned by the gap between what the labs said and what she saw in front of her.

Maria started him on Astro's Oil's Optimal Renal Care line immediately, and the results spoke for themselves. Within weeks, his creatinine began dropping. By the following spring, it had fallen by more than two-thirds — from a crisis-level 8.3 down to 2.6. His severe anemia, present at diagnosis, fully resolved. His phosphorus came down into a comfortably normal range. His appetite came roaring back.

Just as Piet started responding so well, Maria hit a roadblock — getting Astro's Oil safely into Germany. Customs clearance had become increasingly difficult to navigate, and for a bit it looked like Piet might run out.

That's when she turned to her friend Takis. Maria's known Takis for years — he runs a rescue in Crete that's become known around the world, home to hundreds of dogs and cats. Takis has used our treatments for many years within his rescue, and it was actually Takis who first told Maria about us in the first place. So when Piet's supply ran short, Maria reached back out to the very person who started this whole journey — and Takis, who happened to have oil on hand from his own order, was glad to help. She flew out that weekend to pick it up in person at his shelter, so Piet wouldn't miss a single dose.

Nine months later, Piet is still here. Not just surviving — thriving. Running, demanding food, greeting his family at the door, still stubbornly resisting the vet like the feisty little dog he's always been.

And there's more good news: since starting our newly improved formula featuring our Mit-e addition, Maria says Piet has started showing behaviors she hasn't seen in a long time.

A dog who was scheduled to die is living a full life today, and that's a story worth telling.

This is why we do what we do. 🐾

Meet Simba — 11 years old and a fighter until the very last breath. 🐾

When everyone said there was no hope, Marianna refused to give up. She went above and beyond to give him every possible chance, and in doing so, she helped us build something bigger than either of them knew.

Simba was one of the first to use our Mit-e Urgent Care Line, and although he's no longer with us, his journey laid the foundation for every animal who came after him.

Some lives change everything. His was one of them. 💛 Rest easy sweet boy.

Good morning

We are so excited to introduce the Mit‑é Urgent Care Line: our most powerful formulation to date, and a true next generation of what Astro's Oil has to offer.

For years, there were cases we simply couldn't reach — pets slipping through the cracks despite everything our original line had to offer.

The Mit‑é line was created to bridge that gap. It addresses a wide range of pathologies we couldn't take on before — it's no longer just about renal disease — and it's already producing results that we can only describe as nothing short of remarkable.

We've been using these formulations in-house with our own pets and with select clients, and we are beyond excited to begin opening access to more families who need it most.

The Mit‑é line is designed to kick the whole cellular energy system of the body into a new gear — fast.

By targeting the mitochondria — the organelles responsible for producing the energy every single cell in the body needs to function — it doesn't just get the cells running again. It gets them running the way they did when your pet was young. We are seeing evidence of genuine mitochondrial regeneration: cells recovering their efficiency, their output, and their vitality in ways that reflect a much earlier stage of life. One of the most telling signs we've observed is hair regaining its chromatic value — colour and vibrancy returning — which tells us something profound is happening at the cellular level. And even when only a portion of the cells respond, the pet is still meaningfully benefiting. Every cell that comes back online matters.

And we're already working on the next stage of refinement. Stay tuned.

The four treatments — how the protocol works

1. Mit‑é Urgent Care Formula
Our new hero product and the first step. Think of it as a boot-up for the body — it targets the mitochondrial energy system directly, restoring the cellular efficiency that powers every organ, tissue, and system. The goal is to get the cells functioning the way they did in their prime.

2. Urgent Care Nutrition
Introduced alongside the Mit‑é Urgent Care Formula, this is the next generation of our Protein Powder. It's designed for pets with poor appetite, muscle loss, and low energy. Because of its unique composition, it requires very little digestion to be absorbed — meaning the body doesn't have to spend the resources it simply doesn't have on processing food, allowing nutrients to be used more efficiently.

3. Urgent Care Scrub (Metabolic Acidosis)
A prebiotic that binds and helps eliminate waste while supporting gut health. Digestive dysfunction is more common than people realize in critically ill pets, and it can interfere with the cells' ability to function and regenerate properly. The Scrub helps address this — including metabolic acidosis, which is a frequent complication in more severe cases. Bloodwork is required to determine which version your pet needs.

4. Mit‑é Renal Care Formula
Once the system is jump-started and things begin functioning again, we layer in the Mit‑é Renal Care Formula. This addresses systemic inflammation — which plays a significant role in many pathologies — while continuing to support cellular function and regeneration. Think of it as the anti-inflammatory layer that completes the protocol.
