Welcome to the Montreal Dog Trainers Network, although we are based in Montreal Quebec, we do train people across
Canada & United States that are interested to become trainers through our online training. Their are certain criteria's that have to be met prior to taking the course. The course which is divided in to 2 groups and are very detailed but easy to follow and understand. Click here to see

the break down. Once you sign up, you become part of the elite team of the Dog Trainers Network, and when you graduate you receive your registration
number as a trainer with the Canadian Dog Trainers Association C.D.T.A Your registration number can be found by the public at C.D.T.R

For those that live outside of the Montreal Quebec area: (Please Note)
You can still take the course the procedure is still very simple and effective. We use video monitoring, skype & phone discussions. We supply you with all the tools you need. The course is approximately 1 1/2 hours per sessions followed by E-mail of quizzes & Problem solving. (This also applies to the out of town students as well)

Being a professional dog trainer means understanding behavior, psychology, body language, timing, tools, communication systems, and how to problem-solve under pressure — all while adapting to different dogs and different humans every single day.

It’s not just about teaching dogs to sit or stay. It’s about reading subtle signals, adjusting your technique in real-time, and guiding both the dog and the handler through a structured learning journey.

✅ It’s knowing how to safely work with a dog that’s reactive or fearful.
