HELP US GROW THIS POT + HELP PREVENT UNWANTED LITTERS THIS FALL

The winter weather is no joke and as much as we don’t want it, it’s coming eventually.

We have officially booked a mini spay n neuter clinic for October to be able to fix as many (goal of 50) cats & dogs as we can that are at risk of creating litter that will be born into the elements 😔

🐱 EXCITING NEWS 🗞️ ‼️

We are now partnered up with Red Deer Petsmart and these 4 cute kitties are our first available residents in the adoption bank!

If you’re looking to add a kitten or two to your family pop into the store and apply to adopt ! 🐾

You’ll now be able to see felines from The Rescue Collective there frequently and we couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity.

HOPE IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER ! 🐾

Now that we’ve gotten to know Hope a little better we are looking for a more permanent foster home for her while she awaits adoption.

She is SO SMART, food motivated and eager to please.

Because of her past she is very fearful of males so is looking for a foster home to continue to help her work through this.
Not necessarily having a male in the home but being willing to work with her on exposure or get her to our trainer in red deer to do so.

She has done great with other dogs. She would love a social dog she could play with. She is a bit of a tank and a rough play style.

She does good in crate, is walking good on leash, working on all her basic commands and is working on getting in and out of the car and muzzle conditioning.

She gets so excited to see her human (female) and can absolutely be around men BUT it takes time and effort. LOVES to chase a ball and play with her toys.

She would be an absolutely great running companion! And she loves water.

These adorable little kittens are waiting to be adopted in the adoption bank - and they would LOVE to meet you!

They are both very social little kittens that have been handled by kids, been around other cats and had exposure to dogs.

David is super affectionate & chatty while Patches is a little more laid back but has a touch of that torti-tude 🐾

They love to play with their toys, wrestle? snuggle and being the social kittens they are should go to a home with at least one other friendly cat OR adopt together.

Both are fixed, chipped & up to date on vaccines and deworming but will require booster vaccinations still.

Adoption fee of $200 single or $350 duo

This is Gilmore. A 2 year old basset mix of many mixes up for adoption through Old MacDonald Kennels & Animal Services.

We had the pleasure of taking him to a recent event and then one of our foster homes gave him a shelter break for a few days.

He was a great boy! Amazing with humans of all ages, great around the cats and other dogs.

He found all the comfy spots to nap & soaked up all the love 💕

This sweet boy was found as a stray and then adopted but returned due to some separation anxiety when left alone for extended periods of time. When we heard that we wanted to help so our foster introduced him to the crate and began crate training so he had somewhere he felt safe when his owners are gone.

He’s doing good in the crate and with continued use we know he will perfect it 👌🏻

We think he would love to have another dog companion in the home.

Anyhow …. we LOVE him and would just like to spread the word and help him get adopted !

We had an absolutely AMAZING time last night at the Blackfalds Block Party! ❤️

A BIG thank you to Little Stars Play School for inviting us, and to Ice Cream Smiles for partnering with us. They generously donated $300 from their sales to our Rescue 🐶🐱!

We are also thrilled to announce that our little girl, Lilac, found her forever home! The perfect family came from Red Deer to meet her at the event. 🩷

We love being at events like this, we made so many new connections and our dogs and cats up for adoption got all the snuggles 🥰
