In Loving Memory of Sweet Rosa 💔

We had originally planned to share this adorable video of our wonderful volunteer Annika spending some special cuddle time with sweet Rosa. Sadly, we are now sharing it in her memory, as our beautiful girl passed away today. 💔

After losing all five of her chicken friends, Rosa had been feeling very lonely. Our amazing volunteers stepped up to take on special chicken cuddle shifts, making sure she was surrounded by love, comfort, and companionship.

And as you can see in this precious video, Rosa soaked up every minute of it!

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her final days were filled with kindness, gentle cuddles, and so much love.

To Annika and all our incredible volunteers who made sure Rosa never felt alone, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Sweet Rosa, we hope you’re reunited with your five feathered friends.

Rest peacefully, beautiful girl. You were so very loved and will be deeply missed.

🍂 Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks, giving back, and giving love.

Our dogs are hoping for something special this season — a family of their own. ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, maybe your next chapter begins with one of these faces.

This season, give a rescue dog the gift of home. 🐾

💔 URGENT: These Pets Need New Homes 💔

The Community Pet Rehome by Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary was created to help families who can no longer keep their pets find them safe, loving new homes.

The dogs you see here are not at a shelter. They’re still with their current owners, who are doing their best to rehome them responsibly.

This is a courtesy page that we have created to help the families. Dog Tales is not liable or responsible for the pets posted.

If you’re interested in a pet, please message the person who made the post directly. They can answer your questions and arrange next steps.

Each post is a real pet, in real need, with a family trying to do the right thing.

Please take a moment to scroll, read, and share so we rehome as quickly as possible.

One happy ending makes room for another beginning. 🐾❤️

Skittles, the last of our Bahamas pups, has finally found her forever home with Jess!

And while her journey with us has come to an end, another dog’s journey is about to begin.

With every adoption, we make room to rescue another dog in need. That’s the beautiful ripple effect of giving a dog a second chance.

To every family who opened their hearts and homes to our Bahamas pups, and to our donors who supported their care along the way, thank you for making these happy endings possible.

Skittles is home. And now, another dog gets a chance.❤️
