Next weekend is the BCRC Fall Reptile Expo in Abbotsford BC. Okanagan Days will be bringing a gorgeous selection of stunning day geckos to check out. Plus feeders, CUC and supplies. We hope to see you there!

Bromeliads are a quick way to add a vibrant splash of color to an enclosure. I leave them confined in the pots and top water lightly. Once they bloom they are at the end of their life cycle, but confined in the pots they usually put out several pups each. After some trial and error I currently have about 8 assorted Bromeliads from previous years started. One 18x18x24 is simply full of potted Bromeliads.
Easy jungle. (Temporary build)
Some of the flowers can hold out months and look good before giving up.

Little splashes of color. Once I figure how to get them doing well inside an enclosure, I figure out how to propagate more and spread them out. A long term project. The last pic is my collection of Mandarin spider plants I started from seeds.
