Do you love animals and enjoy helping people? 🐶🐱
Social Pets is looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Sales Associate / Cashier to join our team!

✨ What you’ll do:
• Greet and assist customers
• Help customers choose pet products
• Operate the cash register & process transactions
• Restock shelves and keep the store clean & organized
• Receive and organize deliveries
• Provide basic pet product and care advice
• Help with everyday store duties

🐾 What we’re looking for:
• Friendly, positive, and dependable
• Great customer service skills
• Comfortable working with pets and pet products
• Previous retail/cashier/customer service experience
• Pet store experience is an asset
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Shoplifting Incident – July 2, 2026

At approximately 4:41 PM, this woman entered our store with two men. One of our staff members observed the woman place store merchandise into her bag. When the staff member approached her and asked her to remove the unpaid item from her bag, she refused and immediately left the store with the two men.

We believe the three individuals were acting together. If you recognize them or have any information, please contact us or the local police. Thank you for your assistance.

⚠️ WARNING TO LOCAL BUSINESSES – PLEASE SHARE ⚠️

Unfortunately, our small business has been targeted by theft for the third day in a row.

Today, the individual shown in the video entered our store, took merchandise, and then kicked the door open and ran out without paying. Our staff did their best to encourage him to stop and pay for the items, but he left the store with the merchandise.

We have reported the incident to the Kelowna RCMP, and a police file has been opened.

Running a small business is not easy, and repeated thefts like this have a significant impact on local businesses and the people who work hard to serve our community.

We are sharing this video to:
✔️ Help identify the individual
✔️ Warn other local businesses to be aware
✔️ Encourage anyone with information to contact the Kelowna RCMP

If you recognize this person, please contact the Kelowna RCMP and reference the police file number. Please do not confront the individual yourself.
