We are a non-profit volunteer pet search & rescue group dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their owners and securing abandoned or stray pets so they can get a chance at a better life.

FOUND: on August 31st 2026 in the area of Eldon Road in Little Britain, this female, brown and white bulldog cross was found without a collar, tags, or microchip.

If you have any additional information, please contact the Municipal Law Enforcement Office at 705–324–9411 extension 1212 (Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm) or 705–928–3054 after hours.

Late last night with the help of experienced trappers the 2 other dogs dumped on St Mary’s St Bethany/Janetville were secured.

⚠️We suspect these dogs were DUMPED! If anyone recognizes these dogs or thinks they saw something we encourage you to come forward and report any information to Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or Tail Trackers Search & Rescue⚠️

Please still use caution driving the road and if you see another dog that is unfamiliar to the area please contact us right away!

Thank you to the community & volunteers who came together so quickly to ensure the safety of these guys. We can’t work quickly and safely like we do without the help of everyone.

We are fundraising for more trapping equipment so we can help bring more pets safely home! We are fundraising to purchase a XL humane trap so we can be prepared when we have larger dogs that are hard to secure. We also have 5 trail cameras we use for various reasons that all run on a $20/month subscription

❗❗ LOOSE DOG SPOTTED ❗❗

A loose dog was spotted walking towards Northlin Park near Lindsay Place. The dog may have a pink collar. It appeared calm and non-reactive when seeing another dog.

Please do not chase or try and trap the dog and report all sightings to Tail Trackers or text 705-216-1111.
