🍕❤️ A huge THANK YOU to our amazing supporters and to the wonderful customers of Friends Pizza & Pasta calgary!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, ordered a meal, shared our fundraiser, or cheered us on, we raised $350 this past Thursday through Friends Pizza & Pasta’s generous program, which donated 15% of the day’s sales to help the animals in our care.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of this local business and our community. Every dollar raised helps us provide food, veterinary care, and safe shelter for animals in need.

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one slice at a time! 🐾🍕💕

🐾 THE TIME IS NOW… LET’S NAME SOME CATS! 🐱

We’ve been hinting at it in our previous posts, and now it’s finally time to put those creative brains to work! We have some new faces who need names, and we know you’ve got ideas. 😸

We’ll be revisiting name suggestions from our previous posts, so if you already threw an idea into the mix, it’s still in the running! And of course, we want to hear your new suggestions right here, too.

A few things to keep in mind:
🎀 The borders around each cat indicate their s*x, but gender-neutral names are absolutely welcome!
🎬 We LOVE a good theme, whether it’s food, movies, books, nature, ridiculous puns, or something completely unexpected.
😇 Keep it fun, creative, and respectable. We’re naming cats, not starting a scandal! 😂

Drop your suggestions in the comments! We can’t wait to see what you come up with. Let the naming games begin! 🎉

🧙‍♂️ TUMBLEWEED AND THE MAGICAL EASY BAKE OVEN 🐾

Little Tumbleweed isn’t feeling his best, so we’ve tucked him into our magical Easy Bake Oven (aka the incubator) to help him stay comfortable and get all the supportive care he needs while he works on feeling better. 💕

His face, however, tells us EXACTLY how he feels about this arrangement. 😂 Apparently, five-star kitten care isn’t quite the luxury experience he was expecting!

Feel better soon, little man. We’re rooting for you! ❤️

😴 LITTER UPDATE: ONE PALLET DOWN, ONE TO GO! 😴

Okay, we’ve officially purchased our first pallet of wood pellet litter! 🎉 But we’re not out of the woods yet… or out of the litter box, apparently. 😂

We still have a ways to go to cover the cost of the second pallet, which will help keep our foster homes stocked with this everyday essential.

🐾 One pallet purchased!
🐾 One pallet still to fund!
🐾 Approximately $500 per pallet, including taxes.

Remember, you don’t have to sponsor an entire pallet. Every donation, whether it covers a few bags or a bigger chunk of the cost, helps us get closer to our goal.

And a little reminder: a tax receipt will be automatically issued for your donation! ❤️

Litter might not be glamorous, but keeping our cats’ bathrooms clean is a daily necessity. Every dollar raised for supplies is a dollar we can put toward veterinary care, food and the other costs of rescue.

Help us get that second pallet across the finish line! 🐈💩
