Okay hi! It's me, Apollo! I'm 5 months old, I'm a boy, and everyone says I'm pure sunshine! ☀️

I mean... look at this face. I'm cute and I KNOW it

I warmed up in my foster home SO fast because I just love everyone. I already get along great with the dogs and the cat here, and I would probably love respectful kids too!

I'm friendly, I'm sweet, I LOVE to play, and I'm a total go-with-the-flow kind of guy. You want to play? I'm in! You want to cuddle? I'm in! You want to just chill? I'm also in!

If you're looking for a kitten who loves everyone he meets, that's literally me. I'm your guy.

💕 Hi! It's us, DORA AND MAP! 💕

It's us! A mother-daughter duo looking for our forever family together! Can you be our forever family? 🥹

We've been in NOAWS care for almost a year now. We had some medical issues when we first came in, but we are doing SO well now! We feel amazing and we are finally, truly ready! 💖

I'm DORA! 🎒 I'm about 2 years old, I'm the momma. I'm spayed, and I'm the cool, independent one. I like having my own space, but I LOVE to be close by to my humans. I like occasional snuggles, and my FAVORITE game is when you change the bedsheets — I go CRAZY! My foster caught me snuggling under the covers in the morning... don't tell anyone, okay? Shhh!

And I'm MAP! 🗺️ I'm about 1 year old, I'm the daughter! I'm spayed too! Okay so story time... when I first came here I was SO scared, I hid under the bed for THREE WEEKS. But now? I'm like, the MOST affectionate and curious girl ever! I love bedtime cuddles, I love to follow my humans around to see what they're doing, and I LOVE sitting in my cat tower watching the birds outside. I'm so brave now!

Things we BOTH love:

- Chin rubs — we MELT! Try us!
- Cat toys! We love to chase and play!
- Churu lickable treats!!! YUM! And Temptations! We come RUNNING!!
- Window gazing on our cat tree.

About dogs? At first we were like NOPE, no thank you. We stayed far away for a whole month. But now? Eh, dogs are okay. We don't even care anymore.

Our foster family is AMAZING and helped us come such a long way through everything. We feel so much better now and we have such a nice, comforting vibe... at least that's what they tell us. We promise you won't be bored with us around!

We have been through a lot together, so we REALLY want to stay together. We love each other so much. Could we come home with you... both of us?

THE NOAWS TATTOO CHALLENGE IS ON!

💖 The animals are excited to see everyone this Sunday September 13th from 11-3pm at Pet Valu in Timmins!! There will be a special appearance from Trixie, who is currently looking for a foster or forever home!

We still have a long way to hit our goal! Can we make it to $2,000 by Friday 🤔

Our NOAWS board members have their sleeves rolled up and are ready to get tatted up for the animals! But we need YOUR help to hit our $5,000 goal!

Every dollar goes directly to food, medical care, and shelter for the animals in our care 💛

If NOAWS can raise $5,000 between now and September 13 (the date of our ‘Tats for Tails’ fundraiser), every member of our Board of Directors will get a NOAWS logo tattoo!

And yes… that includes one of our founding members AND our Vice-President, Linda, who has NEVER had a tattoo before!

Deadline: September 13 by 3pm
Reward: One very permanent NOAWS logo for every board member!

WELCOME MISS SUNNY BUNNY TO NOAWS! 🌞

Today is the day! Today we finally get to welcome Miss Sunny to the NOAWS family! 💛

We are told she is already an absolute sweetheart and we are SO excited for what her future brings.

We want to send the biggest thank you to everyone involved in getting her here, including the amazing volunteer who picked her up from the train and is bringing her to Timmins today, you are amazing!

And to her new foster family, thank you!

Sunny will be taking some time to decompress and settle into her foster home. Once she’s had a chance to relax and we learn a little more about her, she will be ready for adoption.

Kiwi recently came into our care and boy, is he ever sweet! 🥹 He came out of his shell fairly quick with his new fosters and has shown us what a lovebug he really is.

What we know about Kiwi:

His Heart: Kiwi is loving, affectionate, and just an all-around nice cat. He loves being around people and getting pets.

His Personality:Playful, Silly, Sweet. Once he feels at home, Kiwi loves to play, explore, and show off his goofy side.

We are still learning more about Kiwi, but so far, so good! He’s been so brave and is blossoming more every day, and we can’t wait to see more of his amazing personality shine through. 💛

🚨IN NEED OF A NEW FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME

Hi!!! It’s me! Trixie!!! 💖

It’s been almost 3 MONTHS I’ve been waiting 🥺 and I soooo badly wants my furever home!

I’m Trixie! I’m like 1-2 years old, a Husky mix girl! And I’m VERY sweet!

My heart: I LOVES peoples soooo much! I’m very loving! But patience is da key to my heart, okay? Once I trust you, I’m silly, affectionate, and full of wiggles and love! I LIVE for pets and I lean in REAL hard when I feels safe! 💛

My quirks: I’m pretty silly when I let my guard down! Hehe! And I LOVES to be outside sniffing and watching birds and just existing in the fresh air wif my peoples! A fenced yard would be my DREAM or a family who will take me outside lots and lots!

Dog fwiends: I’m a little selective. I do good wif da dog in my foster home! I fink I would like a calm, confident doggy fwiend who can show me da ropes and not be all up in my face 24/7 or I would be happy to be your ONLY dog too!

Cat fwiends: Dis one’s a “maybe.” I lived wif cats before and I was curious and friendly! But da kitties didn’t like ME, so we not really sure! I tried my best! 🐱

My dream home is:
- Patient hoomans who will love me and train me nicely
- Calm, respectful tiny hoomans is okay!
- A securely fenced yard or a family who loves outside time!
- Another calm, confident dog, or just me!
