Conan is our 11-year-old Great Pyrenees and the inspiration behind our brand.

Four years ago, we honestly thought we were going to lose him. He had severe hip issues, a large tumour on his side, and his mobility was rapidly declining.

At that point, we transitioned our four dogs onto a raw food only diet.

Since then, we have seen major improvements. Conan has lost weight, can now stand and move on his own again, and his tumour has reduced to about half its original size. He also no longer has accidents in the house. Heโ€™s aging with more strength and comfort than we ever thought possible!

With our other dogs, we saw better weight balance, a reduction in yeast issues, and improved oral health, along with overall more vitality and comfort as they aged. Theyโ€™ve also continued to have the energy and endurance to hike the beautiful mountains around Hope, BC with ease.

This experience is what inspired us to start Head of the Pack Raw Dog Foodโ€”to make simple, affordable raw feeding more accessible for other dog owners in Hope.
