A New Location — The Same Trusted Care

I’m excited to announce that While Away has moved to Parksville!

After successfully providing property check services in another community, I’ve relocated to beautiful Parksville and am bringing my experience with me.

While Away Parksville provides reliable property checks for homeowners who are away — whether it’s for a few days, several weeks, or an extended stay.

I understand how important it is to know that someone is keeping an eye on your home while you’re gone. My job is to be that trusted local presence — checking your property, noticing when something isn’t right, and giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

✨ Experienced property care
🏡 Reliable scheduled home checks
🔑 A trusted local presence
🌿 Now serving Parksville and surrounding area

If you’re planning to be away — or know someone who spends part of the year elsewhere — I’d love to connect.

Please share with anyone who might appreciate having a reliable set of eyes on their home while they’re away.

Wowza its cold outside!! -33C to be precise!!

FunFact on a cold day:
The rule of the thumb is that it takes roughly 6-hours for water in your pipe to freeze after left in an unheated area. Meaning if you lose power or heat at your home and the weather is reaching below freezing point, you have approximately 6-hours until the pipes will begin to freeze. Yikes that's not long at all!!

Here's an article on some tips to prevent your pipes from freezing!!
And if you are away for any amount of time consider having someone check on your home and property to make sure all is well.
While UR Away - Hinton is the reliable insured business that can give you peace of mind even in minus 30🥶.
