🐾 FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR MAVERICK 🐾
Our sweet boy Maverick is looking for a new foster home while he continues his search for his forever family.
Unfortunately, Maverick's current foster family is moving out of the area, so we need to find him a loving place to land as soon as possible.
Maverick is a young pup with a big heart, long legs for days, and a playful personality that's impossible not to love. He's off to a fantastic start with his training—he's house trained, kennel trained, and knows commands like sit, down, kennel, and wait. This smart boy is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved, and he's doing great on leash with more progress every day.
Maverick has a medium energy level. He loves to play, but he's just as happy curling up beside you for naps and cuddles. He gets along well with friendly dogs that aren't too rambunctious and would enjoy having a calm canine companion, although it's not a requirement.
He'd also love a securely fenced yard where he can run, play, sniff the fresh air, and enjoy being outdoors.
Maverick was born with a heart murmur, but you would never know it by watching him enjoy life. It doesn't currently affect his growth or activity level, although he may tire a little sooner than other puppies and appreciate the occasional break.
Because of his playful size and energy, Maverick would do best in a home with children aged 10 and older.
Every day Maverick spends in foster care gives him another chance to find the perfect forever family—but first, he needs a safe place to stay.
