If anyone is going away for the summer and is in need of some pet sitting, be sure to book ahead of time before spots fill (or I make plans).

I live out of my clients home, and make sure the animals have their normal routine followed, and keep them company while their owners are away.

Hey evreyone, I have a client looking to re home her dog (Daisy), due to the cost of ownership, as well as having a busy schedule making it hard to care for Daisy. If you are interested, or have any questions, send me a messege and I can connect you with the owner

Here is the overview of Daisy:
Age: 9 years
Breed: Hound/Golden Retriever/Labs
Medical History:
Spayed
Vaccinated: Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough (2025)
Negative stool for O&P (2025)
Needs GI specific vet food for chronic diarrhea
Vet: Beattie Pet Hospital
Adopted from the Kingston SPCA in 2024.
Personality:
• No food aggression
• House trained
• No chewing, destruction of property
• No aggression or biting people
Doesn't bark when you leave her home, just settles onto her matt to sleep
• Shows anxiety when you return home by pacing around, staring at you until she settles
down to sleep
• Difficulty adjusting to new people in the home as she gets anxious with pacing and
barking, cannot settle back to sleeping. I usually put her back downstairs and she will
sleep if people are over for the evening.
• Walks great with a Halti-lead but will bark and jump towards white vans and bikes
intermittently
• Walks well with other dogs with the dog walker
• Does well at the groomers (who is also her dog walker)
• Plays well with other dogs at the kennel
• Can sit and shake paw for treats
• Needs a muzzle at the vets office if there is any physical exam by a vet or new male
person but is very sweet in the waiting room or with the vet techs
Upkeep
• Must have Low Fat Canine Brand Food (approx 200$/month)
• I tried: Costco brands, fortinos, other petsmart brands but she gets diarrhea
• Can be left alone for 6-8 hours with no accidents
• Sleeps alone downstairs in her bed
• Love to smell and walk outside, will walk for hours if you let her
• Doesn't play fetch or with toys
• Loves anything with food
• Doesn't like a lot of petting, more aloof like a hound, but will want to have you in the
same room while she sleeps during the day
Comes with:
• Xtra Large Metal Crate
• 10 foot long leash
• Short daisy themed leash
• Halti lead
• Two metal water dishes
• Two metal food dishes and matt
• Brush and shampoo bottle
• Dog

Sadly Ned passed away last week.

Ned had a great last year thanks to his wonderful owners & . He lived his life to the fullest dispite his medical problems.

Ned loved hanging out with people, going on car rides, and being outside just watching what others were doing.

Ned also had such a hollow old man bark, that I found very endearing and funny.

Rest easy Ned, you will be missed.

I had a great time working with Frankie (a 9 year old Cockapoo) and her owner.

Frankie needed some help with pulling on the leash. We made great progress with her by changing her collar, and working on some positive reinforcement.

Leash pulling can be a diffucult behaviour to change depending on the dog, but luckily I dont think pulling will be an issue for Frankie anymore.

Had a great time doing a training session with Scout, a 3 year old Lab mix, and his amazing owners.

We worked on leash reactivity towards other dogs. Scout is very friendly, but friendly dogs can still be reactive. Being on a leash often causes dogs to act differently to how they would normally.
